Chris Owens, CB -- Suffered a concussion in the first quarter against Denver on Sept. 17. Owens, the team's nickel cornerback, was in the NFL's concussion protocol and missed two games before returning on Oct. 7 against Washington.

Baltimore Ravens Baltimore Ravens

Sean Considine, S -- Was listed on the injury report with a head injury in Week 1's game against Cincinnati.

Buffalo Bills Buffalo Bills

Fred Jackson, RB -- Suffered a concussion late in Buffalo's loss to New England on Nov. 11 after receiving an elbow to the head from Patriots LB Brandon Spikes. Is out indefinitely.

Carolina Panthers Carolina Panthers

Darius Butler, CB -- Suffered a concussion during preseason and was first placed on injured reserve, then released with an injury settlement before the season started.

Lyndon Rowells, RB -- Suffered a concussion during a preseason practice and was waived, injured when the team got down to 75 players at the end of August. "That slight concussion kinda killed me because I wasn't about to play last night," he posted on Facebook after getting cut.

Nelson Rosario, TE -- Sustained a concussion in practice and never played in a preseason game. Was placed on the team's practice squad.

Nate Ness, S -- Impressed the team after being signed to fill Jeff Otah's roster spot. Sustained a concussion in the first preseason game and was waived/injured in late August.

Tauren Poole, RB -- Led the team in rushing in the first preseason game but missed the next two games after getting a concussion in practice. Played in the final preseason game but was cut with what the team called a rib injury.

Brandon LaFell, WR -- Was hit by Chicago Bears DB Chris Conte on a deep third-quarter pass in Week 8. He missed the Week 9 game against Washington but returned the following week.

Mike Tolbert, RB -- Suffered a concussion Week 9 at Washington, but returned to practice by Thursday of the following week and didn't miss a game.

Chicago Bears Chicago Bears

Jay Cutler, QB -- Sustained a concussion on the team's next-to-last possession of the first half against Houston Sunday on a hit to the neck-and-head area by Tim Dobbins while scrambling and throwing from ahead of the line of scrimage. He returned for two plays and then another series after the hit because the team said his symptoms were not immediately visible. He left the game at halftime. His status for Monday's game at San Francisco is uncertain.

Shea McClellin, DE -- Suffered immediate symptoms of a concussion after a hit on special teams early in Sunday's 13-6 loss to Houston. His timetable for return is uncertain.

Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns

Alex Smith, TE -- Sustained a concussion on a blow to the head after making a catch in Cincinnati on Sept. 16. Was sidelined for three games and returned on Oct. 14 against the Bengals.

Josh Cribbs, WR/KR -- Knocked cold on a kickoff return in Baltimore by Dannell Ellerbe on Sept. 27. Missed one game before returning against the Giants on Oct. 7.

D'Qwell Jackson, MLB -- Suffered a concussion against the Giants on Oct. 7, but missed no game action.

Dallas Cowboys Dallas Cowboys

Gerald Sensabaugh, SS -- Suffered a concussion on the final defensive play of a win over Giants on Sept. 5. Sensabaugh used the 10 days between games to his advantage and started the next week in Seattle on Sept. 16.

Denver Broncos Denver Broncos

Nate Irving, LB -- Suffered a concussion when he was blocked into then-Texans KR/PR Trindon Holliday on a second-quarter punt return Oct. 23. Irving sat out the following week's win over Oakland and returned to action Oct. 7 at New England.

Keith Brooking, LB -- Sustained a concussion in the third quarter against the Patriots on Oct. 7. He admitted he wasn't sure which play it happened, but passed his post-concussion tests three days later, practiced all week and didn't miss a game.

Detroit Lions Detroit Lions

Bill Bentley, CB -- Sustained a concussion in the second half of Detroit's Week 1 win over the Rams. Bentley missed one game before returning to the lineup in Week 3. He has since been placed on IR with a shoulder injury.

Jacob Lacey, CB -- Lacey was concussed against the Eagles in Week 6. He missed Detroit's loss to the Bears in Week 7 and their win over the Jaguars in Week 8. He returned to action in Week 9.

Amari Spievey, S -- Spievey has not practiced or played since suffering a concussion during Detroit's Week 7 loss to Chicago. Lions coach Jim Schwartz says Spievey has yet to pass concussion protocols that would allow him to take part in contact activities. The concussion was Spievey's second in the 2012 calendar year. He was also concussed in the second half of Detroit's playoff loss to the Saints during the 2011 season. The team has not offered a timetable for his return.

Cliff Avril, DE -- Avril left the second half of Detroit's Week 10 loss to Minnesota with a concussion. He did not participate in Wednesday's practice, and has yet to pass concussion protocols for contact activity. His status for the Lions' Week 11 meeting with the Packers is uncertain.

Jahvid Best, RB -- Best was placed on a season-ending physically unable to perform list after failing to pass concussion tests stemming from an injury sustained against the 49ers in Week 6 of the 2011 season. His status for 2013 is unknown.

Green Bay Packers Green Bay Packers

Terrell Manning, LB -- Sustained a concussion while playing on special teams in a loss to the 49ers on Sept. 9. Manning missed one game before returning against the Seahawks on Sept. 24.

Jerel Worthy, DE -- Sustained a concussion on the opening kickoff of the second half of a win over the Jaguars on Oct. 28. Worthy missed the Packers’ next game against the Cardinals before their Week 10 bye. He practiced Monday and is likely to play on Sunday against the Lions.

Houston Texans Houston Texans

Antoine Caldwell, RG -- Sustained a concussion in Houston's loss to Green Bay on Oct. 14. He was active the following week against Baltimore but did not start.

Indianapolis Colts Indianapolis Colts

Austin Collie, WR -- Sustained his fourth concussion during the preseason, leading to speculation that his career may be in jeopardy. Collie returned Week 3 against the Jaguars and caught one pass before rupturing his patellar tendon. He will not play again this season.

Winston Justice, OT -- Suffered a concussion in the opener against the Bears and missed the following week. He returned to action in Week 3 and has since battled knee injuries.

Jacksonville Jaguars Jacksonville Jaguars

Laurent Robinson, WR -- Sustained three concussions this season -- one in the preseason, one in Week 3 vs. Cincinnati and one in Week 4 vs. Chicago. Sat out the month of October, but played the last two weeks after a Week 9 return vs. Detroit.

Kevin Rutland, CB -- Knocked out in the Week 3 win over Indianapolis. He didn't play the following two weeks and was released on Oct. 15. That Jaguars re-signed him on Oct. 26 and he has since appeared in three games.

Montell Owens, FB -- Also knocked out in Week 3. He was back in the lineup in Week 4 vs. Cincinnati.

Clint Session, LB -- Sustained two concussions in 2011, one in the preseason and one in Week 11. He's spent the entire 2012 season on the Reserve/PUP list for the Jaguars thus far. Both Session and coach Mike Mularkey have said they don't know if he'll play again this season.

Kansas City Chiefs Kansas City Chiefs

Kevin Boss, TE -- Boss took a hit to the head when he was on the ground after a 29-yard catch in Week 2 against Buffalo. Doctors would not clear Boss to return to the field this season.

Matt Cassel, QB -- Sustained a concussion on Oct. 7 in the fourth quarter against the Ravens. Cassel missed one game and returned two weeks later when Brady Quinn went down with a concussion.

Brady Quinn, QB -- Quinn suffered his concussion during the first quarter of the Oct. 28 loss against the Raiders. Quinn later said that he "kind of noticed a loss of vision" and continued to play until eventually leaving the game. He has not been cleared to play yet.

Nate Eachus, FB -- Suffered a concussion on Oct. 28 against the Raiders. He was cleared to practice last week.

Miami Dolphins Miami Dolphins

Daniel Thomas, RB -- Sustained a concussion in the season-opener against the Texans on Sept. 9. Thomas missed the ensuing game against the Raiders. Then, during practice leading up to a win over the Rams on Oct. 14, Thomas suffered his second concussion of the year and was forced to sit out the win over St. Louis. Thomas has since returned and is pushing starting RB Reggie Bush for carries.

Minnesota Vikings Minnesota Vikings

Erin Henderson, LB -- Sustained a concussion after making a tackle in pass coverage against the Colts on Sept. 9. Signs of Henderson’s concussion did not show up until practice three days later and he missed two games, returning Week 5 against the Titans.

John Carlson, TE -- Knocked out in the second quarter after getting hit on a special teams play in a game against the Cardinals on Oct. 21. Carlson sat out two games with the concussion before returning Week 10 and playing against the Lions.

New England Patriots New England Patriots

Dan Connolly, G -- Sustained a minor concussion in the second half of a Week 1 game against the Titans. He was back for the Patriots' next game against the Cardinals.

Michael Hoomanawanui, TE -- Knocked out of action in the second half of a win over the Bills on Sept. 30. Returned on Oct. 21 against the Jets.

Kyle Arrington, CB -- Suffered a concussion in the first quarter of an Oct. 28 win over the Rams. With a bye the next week, Arrington returned on Nov. 11 against the Bills without missing any additional time.

New Orleans Saints New Orleans Saints

Devery Henderson, WR -- Sustained a concussion on a third-quarter catch against Washington on Sept. 9. Henderson missed one game before returning against the Chiefs on Sept. 23.

New York Giants New York Giants

Antrel Rolle, S -- May have sustained a concussion against the Cowboys in Week 8, but went through the protocol anyway and ended up practicing and playing in Week 9.

Andre Brown, RB -- Brown sustained a concussion on a first-half kickoff return against the Browns on in Week 5. He sat the next week, but Brown returned for the Week 7 win over the Redskins.

Ramses Barden, WR -- Barden was treated for a concussion that he may have suffered late in the second half of the Week 4 loss to the Eagles in Philadelphia. Barden was called for a controversial offensive pass interference penalty in that game that ultimately contributed to the Giants’ loss. He returned in Week 6, but hadn’t made a catch on offense until last Sunday’s loss to the Bengals.

Domenik Hixon, WR -- Hixon suffered a concussion on an illegal hit from Buccaneers LB Mason Foster in Week 2 (the two trained together over the summer) but he returned with a six-catch, 114-yard performance against the Eagles in Week 4. Foster was fined for the hit.

New York Jets New York Jets

Josh Bush, CB -- Bush suffered concussion symptoms after the team's final preseason game against the Eagles. However, he played in the season opener.

Darrelle Revis, CB -- In the season opener against the Bills, Revis, while attempting a tackle, ended up on the ground and was inadvertently kicked in the head by teammate LB Bart Scott. He missed the next game against the Steelers.

Bilal Powell, RB -- In the fourth quarter against the Seahawks, Powell sustained a concussion on a special teams play.

Oakland Raiders Oakland Raiders

Jon Condo, LS -- Suffered a concussion while covering a second-quarter punt Sept. 10 against San Diego when he took an inadvertent knee to the back of his helmet from Raiders TE Brandon Myers and went face-first into the turf. He didn't return to that game and missed two days of practice but recovered in time to play the next game against Miami on Sept. 16.

Darrius Heyward-Bey, WR -- In a Week 3 game against Pittsburgh on Sept. 23, Heyward-Bey was knocked out early in the fourth quarter on a helmet-to-helmet hit in the end zone from Steelers safety Ryan Mundy, suffering a concussion and a strained neck. He was carted off the field and went to the hospital, where he spent the night for observation. Heyward-Bey did not practice the following week and missed the Denver game on Sept. 30, but after the Raiders' bye week, he returned to practice then played against Atlanta on Oct. 14.

Brandon Myers, TE -- Myers has suffered two concussions this season. The first one occurred on the Raiders' final drive against Pittsburgh on Sept. 23 when he caught a 15-yard pass and took a helmet-to-helmet hit from Steelers safety Ryan Mundy. Myers played the next week against Denver on Sept. 30. Myers suffered another concussion on Nov. 11 against Baltimore in the fourth quarter after catching a 12-yard pass and taking a big hit from Ravens safety Bernard Pollard. His status for the Raiders' Nov. 18 game against New Orleans is uncertain.

Mike Brisiel, G -- Brisiel suffered a concussion on Oct. 14 against Atlanta in the second quarter when he took a knee to the back of his helmet while trying to cut-block a Falcon. He didn't return to the game but did return to practice three days later and played Oct. 21 against Jacksonville.

Rolando McClain, LB -- McClain suffered a concussion Sept. 16 against Miami, but it wasn't diagnosed until after the game and he continued playing. He missed one day of practice the following week and played Sept. 23 against Pittsburgh.

Coye Francies, CB/KR -- Francies suffered a concussion during a big collision while returning a kickoff in the fourth quarter against Miami on Sept. 16. He played the following week on Sept. 23 against Pittsburgh.

Matt Giordano, S -- Suffered a concussion in the third quarter Nov. 11 against Baltimore while trying to defend a touchdown pass to Torrey Smith. His status for the Raiders' Nov. 18 game against New Orleans is uncertain.

Philadelphia Eagles Philadelphia Eagles

Michael Vick, QB -- Sustained a concussion in second quarter of 38-23 loss to Dallas on Nov. 11, the result of a hit by either DT Jay Ratliff or by LB Ernie Sims on the next play. Vick was also concussed in Week 2 last season vs. Atlanta, but played the next game. His timetable to return this season is uncertain, but it’s unlikely he’ll play this week against Washington.

Pittsburgh Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers

Ryan Clark, S -- Sustained two concussions, one in a Week 8 win over the Redskins and another on Monday night against the Chiefs. Clark did not miss a game with his first concussion, and his status for this week has not been determined.

St. Louis Rams St. Louis Rams

Eugene Sims, DE -- Sustained a concussion in the Sept. 30 win over the Seahawks. Sims missed one game before returning against the Dolphins on Oct. 14.

Quintin Mikell, FS -- Was knocked out of the Thursday night, Oct. 4 game against the Cardinals with a concussion, but returned 10 days later to play against the Dolphins.

Barry Richardson, RT -- Left the Oct. 28 loss to New England with what was described as a head injury. Richardson was cleared of a concussion and returned after the bye to face San Francisco on Nov. 11.

San Diego Chargers San Diego Chargers

Richard Goodman, WR/KR -- Sustained a concussion during a kick return in the season opener against the Raiders on Monday Night Football. Goodman missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday and then fully participated on Friday before playing in Week 2 vs. the Titans.

San Francisco 49ers San Francisco 49ers

Joe Staley, LT -- Left in the third quarter of the 49ers' game with the New York Giants on Oct. 14 with a concussion. He returned four days later in the team's Thursday night game against Seattle.

Daniel Kilgore, G -- Suffered a concussion in the first quarter on Oct. 29 against Arizona. He returned the following week.

Alex Smith, QB -- Sustained a concussion on a QB sneak in the second quarter against St. Louis on Nov. 11. He remained in the game for six more plays, leading the 49ers on a TD drive, before complaining of blurring vision. The timetable for his return is unclear.

Seattle Seahawks Seattle Seahawks

K.J. Wright, LB -- Wright sustained a concussion on the Vikings opening drive in Week 9. He didn't return to the game and sat out Seattle's Week 10 win over the Jets. Wright's absence meant the first career-start for Mike Morgan. Wright is expected to return after Seattle's Week 11 bye.

James Carpenter, OG -- Carpenter mysteriously showed up on the injury report on the Friday before the Vikings game in Week 9 with an "illness," which the team later confirmed as a concussion. It's believed that he suffered a concussion in practice. The head injury caused him to miss the Seahawks Week 9 and Week 10 wins over the Vikings and Jets. Carpenter is expected to return after the team's Week 11 bye.

Malcolm Smith, LB -- Smith sustained a concussion tackling San Francisco's Ted Ginn Jr. on the opening kickoff in Week 7. It was a Thursday game, so Smith had 10 days to heal and he didn't end up missing any action.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tampa Bay Buccaneers

No concussions.

Tennessee Titans Tennessee Titans

Craig Stevens, TE -- The fifth-year tight end suffered a concussion against the Bills in week 7. Titans coach Mike Munchak said the symptoms didn't become apparent until after the game. Titans' doctors cleared Stevens several days later -- Stevens didn't miss any practice time and played a week later vs. the Colts.

Dave Ball, DE -- The eighth-year defensive end suffered a concussion on Aug. 2 in practice when he was hit in the nose by an offensive lineman. The Titans waited several days before disclosing that Ball experienced a concussion. In the interim, Munchak said the team excused Ball from practice for personal reasons. When Ball suffered a concussion against the Bengals in Week 9 of the 2011 season, it marked the third time he experienced a concussion in two seasons. Ball contemplated retirement before returning three weeks later vs. Tampa Bay. Ball didn't appear in a single practice after suffering the concussion. The Titans placed Ball on IR during final cuts.

Kevin Matthews, OL -- The second-year lineman missed several days of practice in August after suffering a concussion early in training camp. Matthews was active for the Titans' first game of the preseason on Aug. 11 at Seattle.

Fernando Velasco, C -- The third-year center experienced concussion-like symptoms in week 8 vs. the Colts. Velasco was limited in practice before the Titans faced the Bears in week 9, but still started against Chicago.

Washington Redskins Washington Redskins

Robert Griffin III, QB -- Knocked from the Atlanta game on Oct. 7 in the third quarter and did not return. He played the following week.

Santana Moss, WR -- Suffered a concussion late in a Nov. 4 loss to Carolina. The Redskins had a bye week on Nov. 11 and Moss will play Sunday.

Aldrick Robinson, WR -- A pre-game collision caused his concussion on Sept. 30 at Tampa Bay. He did not play that game, but did return the following week.

Jordan Pugh, S -- Left the Oct. 14 game vs. Minnesota in the fourth quarter with a concussion. He played the following week.
