  • Cardinals' James Conner: Tending to back injury

Conner (back) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

The oft-injured running back is dealing with his second health concern of the season after enduring some practice limitations during Week 2 prep due to a calf issue. Now, a back injury is affecting him, meaning his status will be one to watch closely as the week goes on. Through three games, Conner has easily paced the Cardinals backfield to the tune of 58 touches for 292 yards from scrimmage and two TDs.

  • Cardinals' Zaven Collins: Should be good to go

Collins (eye) is "good to go" Sunday against the 49ers, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Collins was poked in the eye during the team's Week 3 win over the Cowboys and had to exit the game. Gannon notes that the Tulsa product will need to wear a dark visor, but should be able to play moving forward.

  • Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Records 21 total yards Sunday

Ingram turned five carries into 13 yards and gathered in his only target for eight yards during Sunday's 29-16 victory versus the Cowboys.

Ingram earned his highest snap share (15 percent) in a game this season and also had his most-productive performance. Still, 21 yards from scrimmage isn't much to write home about, especially with James Conner dominating the Cardinals backfield through three contests to the tune of 74.3 percent of offensive plays and 58 touches for 292 total yards and two TDs. Ingram likely is locked into his current role without some sort of absence from Conner.

  • Cardinals' Trey McBride: Sees only one target in Week 3

McBride reeled in his only target for two yards during Sunday's 28-16 victory against the Cowboys.

McBride so far has played second fiddle to Cardinals No. 1 tight end Zach Ertz through three games, garnering six targets and 77 offensive snaps to the latter's 20 and 118, respectively. In fact, fellow TE Geoff Swaim has seen 71 plays on offense, including 32 to McBride's 30 in Week 3, though the former hasn't been targeted. As such, McBride doesn't hold much sway in fantasy at the moment and may not unless an injury strikes Arizona's receiving corps at some point.

  • Cardinals' Matt Prater: Another perfect performance

Prater made all three field-goal attempts and his only point-after try during Sunday's 28-16 win versus the Cowboys.

On his second perfect day in three chances this season, Prater highlighted his performance with a 62-yard field goal as time expired going into halftime. He's been known for his booming kicks since entering the league in 2007, and Sunday's long make actually matched the second longest of his career behind the 64-yarder he connected on with the Broncos in 2013. With 28 points on the campaign, Prater currently ranks in a tie for sixth among NFL kickers in terms of scoring with the Dolphins' Jason Sanders.

  • Cardinals' Zach Ertz: Meager outing Sunday

Ertz gathered in both of his targets for six yards during Sunday's 28-16 win against the Cowboys.

Through two contests, Ertz was pacing the Cardinals in targets with 18 on his way to 12 catches for 77 yards and no touchdowns. In Week 3 though, quarterback Joshua Dobbs' focus was on his top two wide receivers, with Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore combining for 13 targets. There figures to be some ebb and flow among the team's skill-position players in terms of usage, and Ertz still led Arizona tight ends in snap share (59 percent), ahead of Geoff Swaim (52 percent) and Trey McBride (49 percent). Ertz may have a tough time getting back on track this coming Sunday on the road against the 49ers.

  • Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Runs for TD in Week 3 win

Moore caught four of six targets for eight yards and carried the ball three times for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Cowboys.

The speedy wideout caught the Dallas defense napping when he dashed for a 45-yard TD in the second quarter, the first rushing touchdown of his NFL career. Moore doubled his catch total on the season as well, albeit without contributing much yardage through the air, and while his versatile usage is intriguing from a fantasy perspective, he'll need to begin seeing more volume to be a reliable option outside of best-ball formats. Moore faces a daunting matchup in Week 4 against an elite 49ers defense that's used to seeing the likes of Deebo Samuel line up in the backfield during practice.

  • Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Flashes big-play potential

Wilson caught both his targets for 86 yards in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Cowboys.

The 2023 third-round pick torched the Dallas defense for a 69-yard reception in the fourth quarter to help set up Arizona's final TD of the afternoon. Wilson has just seven catches through his first three NFL games, but he's already proving to be a big-play threat as two of them have gone for more than 20 yards. The rookie faces a tough test in Week 4 against the stingy 49ers.

  • Cardinals' Marquise Brown: Scores for second straight week

Brown caught five of seven targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Cowboys.

The fifth-year wideout led the Cardinals in catches and got into the end zone for the second straight game, hauling in a two-yard strike from Joshua Dobbs in the fourth quarter. Brown scored only three TDs in 12 games last season, so his early production is an encouraging sign that a breakout campaign could be on its way. However, he could have a hard time maintaining his momentum in Week 4 against another tough defense in the 49ers.

  • Cardinals' James Conner: Finds end zone in Week 3 win

Conner carried the ball 14 times for 98 yards and a touchdown and caught both his targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Cowboys.

The former Steeler led a Cardinals rushing attack that piled up 222 yards and two scores, including Conner's own five-yard TD dash in the first quarter that kick-started the upset victory. The veteran back has produced 204 rushing yards and two touchdowns over the last two games, but that TD streak could come to an abrupt end in Week 4 against a tough 49ers defense.
