  • Eagles' C.J. Gardner-Johnson: Lands on IR

The Eagles placed Gardner-Johnson (abdomen) on injured reserve Saturday.

Gardner-Johnson sustained a lacerated kidney against the Packers in Week 12, though this injury is not anticipated to be season-ending. The starting safety will now be sidelined until at least Week 17 against the Saints. Gardner-Johnson recorded 60 tackles, one sack and eight passes defended, including a team-high six interceptions, so his absence will leave a big hole in Philadelphia's secondary. In his stead, expect undrafted rookie Reed Blankenship to fill in as the Eagles' starting free safety.

  • Eagles' Jordan Davis: Activated from IR

The Eagles restored Davis (ankle) to the active roster Saturday.

Davis was placed on IR after suffering a high-ankle sprain against the Steelers in Week 8. The 336-pound rookie was then designated to return to practice Wednesday, and he's now set to return at the earliest possible opportunity against Tennessee on Sunday. Davis recorded 14 tackles and one pass defended while playing 147 of his 180 snaps on defense across the first seven games of the season, though this belies his value as a major piece of Philadelphia's rush defense. Expect him to reprise an important rotational role at defensive tackle as the Eagles take on the Titansand star running back Derrick Henry in Week 13.

  • Eagles' Robert Quinn: Ruled out for Week 13

Quinn has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Titans due to a knee injury.

Quinn landed on the injury report Thursday as a limited participant due to rest, but he was listed as a non-participant Friday due to a knee injury and will be sidelined for his first game since joining the Eagles at the end of October. In his absence, Ndamukong Suh, Linval Joseph and Milton Williams are the only reserve defensive lineman behind Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave and Josh Sweat.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Good to go

Pascal (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Quez Watkins has taken more of the snaps in recent weeks after rotating with Pascal for much of the season, and given Watkins' recent surge in production it's possible that continues Sunday against the Titans even after Pascal managed a full practice Friday and was cleared for the game.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Cleared to play

Smith (groin) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Smith upgraded to full participation Friday after back-to-back limited practices. He's seen eight or more targets in three straight games and is only seven behind A.J. Brown for the team lead this season (86-79), but Brown has a much larger share of the deep passes and red-zone looks, while Smith has gotten far more of his targets near the line of scrimmage than he did last season. In any case, both get a decent matchup this week, as Brown's former team has given up the third most PPR points to wide receivers despite playing solid defense on the whole.

  • Eagles' Patrick Johnson: Logs full practice Thursday

Johnson (ankle) was listed as a full participant on the Eagles' injury report Thursday.

Johnson was forced out with an ankle issue during the second half of Sunday's win over the Packers, leaving him limited during Wednesday's walkthrough. However, his ability to practice in full Thursday indicates he should be ready to go against Tennessee in Week 13. Johnson has recorded five tackles and one forced fumble while playing the majority of his snaps on special teams this season, and he'll likely continue to provide depth at linebacker moving forward.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Remains limited Thursday

Smith (groin) was limited at practice Thursday.

The Eagles again are holding Smith back during Week 13 prep as he tends to his third listed injury of the season. He hasn't had an issue playing through the previous health concerns, earning at least 86 percent of snaps in 10 of 11 contests. Smith also has seen at least eight targets in three consecutive games on his way to 16-167-1 line during that span. Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not he enters the weekend with an injury designation for Sunday's outing against the Titans.

  • Eagles' Zach Pascal: Limited due to groin injury

Pascal was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough due to a groin injury.

Seeing as Pascal played a season-low nine offensive snaps against the Packers, the wideout presumably picked up the groin injury sometime in the first half of the Eagles' primetime win. The extent of the issue remains unclear, but it's encouraging to see Pascal at least get some work in during the first session of Week 13 prep. He'll have two more opportunities to log a full practice before Philadelphia needs to make a decision on his status for Sunday's matchup against the Titans.
