Rams' Jonah Williams: Poached off Vikes' practice squad
The Rams signed Williams off the Vikings' practice squad to the active roster Friday.
The move adds depth to the Rams' defensive line after Larrell Murchison was placed on injured reserve for the second time this season Friday due to a broken foot. Williams spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Rams, but he opted to sign a one-year deal with the Vikings in March. He was unable to make Minnesota's 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he opted to stick around on the practice squad and was elevated for Week 2 against San Francisco. Williams is back in Los Angeles, and because he was signed off a different team's practice squad, he is required to remain on the Rams' active roster for at least the next three games.

Rams' Darious Williams: Expected to suit up Sunday
Rams coach Sean McVay said Friday that he expects Williams (hamstring) to play versus Green Bay on Sunday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Williams has been on IR all season but was designated to return Wednesday and logged a limited practice session followed by a pair of full sessions during Week 5 prep. The veteran cornerback started all 17 regular-season games for Jacksonville last year and will likely be a starter for Los Angeles as well upon his return. It's not yet clear how the Rams will shift their secondary to accommodate Williams' insertion into the starting lineup.

Rams' Larrell Murchison: Breaks foot
Head coach Sean McVay told reporters Friday that Murchison will head back to injured reserve after breaking his foot during Wednesday's practice, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Murchison was just activated off injured reserve Friday, but it now appears he'll head back after breaking his foot. The 27-year-old defensive lineman has yet to suit up for the Rams this season, and he'll now be forced to miss Los Angeles' next four contests. Murchison can return as early as Week 9, when the Rams play the Dolphins.

Rams' Larrell Murchison: Activated Friday
The Rams activated Murchison (arm) off injured reserve Friday.
Despite Murchison's activation off IR, the 27-year-old downgraded from a limited practice Wednesday to a DNP on Thursday, indicating he's still dealing with his arm issue. Murchison could still suit up for Sunday's contest against the Packers and would serve as a depth piece on the Rams' defensive line if he's able to play.

Rams' Demarcus Robinson: Logs full practice Thursday
Robinson (hip) practiced in full Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
One day removed from logging a capped session Wednesday, Robinson returned to full participation, paving the way for him to continue being a part of the Rams receiving corps Sunday against the Packers. With WRs Puka Nacua (knee) on injured reserve and Cooper Kupp (ankle) sidelined, Robinson hasn't been lacking in offensive snaps this season, earning at least 85 percent in all four games. Still, Robinson has mustered just a 9-161-0 line on 18 targets for the season while Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington have taken on larger target shares the past few contests.
