Canucks' Aatu Raty: Sent to AHL Abbotsford
Raty was loaned to AHL Abbotsford on Thursday.
Raty tallied seven goals and four assists across 33 regular-season games with Vancouver in 2024-25. He will get some extra playing time in the AHL playoffs, and that will bode well for next year, when he should play a full season with Vancouver.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Nabs helper in win
Raty produced an assist, two shots on goal, four hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche.
Raty has racked up four points over his last three contests. The 22-year-old has taken advantage of moving up to the third line, which has unlocked steadier offense while the Canucks deal with multiple injuries to centers. Raty has 11 points, 30 shots on net, 76 hits, 14 PIM and an even plus-minus rating across 30 appearances this season.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: One of each Tuesday
Raty scored a goal on two shots, dished a power-play assist and logged five hits in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Stars.
Raty has five goals and a helper over his last seven contests. The 22-year-old is still filling a bottom-six role, but that productivity could be enough to earn him trust with more minutes late in the campaign. He's now at 10 points, 28 shots on net, 72 hits and a minus-2 rating across 29 appearances this season.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Finds twine in Sunday's loss
Raty scored a goal on three shots, added four hits and logged two PIM in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Raty has four goals over his last six games. He continues to play regularly in a bottom-six role while the Canucks deal with a heavily depleted position group at center. The 22-year-old could end up sticking in the lineup for the rest of the regular season, as the Canucks are teetering on the brink of being eliminated from playoff contention, which would give them no reason to bring their injured players back. Raty has six goals, two assists, 26 shots on net, 67 hits and a minus-2 rating over 28 appearances at the NHL level this year.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Tallies twice Friday
Raty scored two goals in Friday's 7-6 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Raty tallied twice in the third period, including at 17:31 of the frame to tie the game at 6-6 after the Canucks blew a two-goal lead. While the 22-year-old is in a fourth-line role, he's taking advantage of his chances, which could help him stay in the lineup once the Canucks get some forwards back from injuries. Raty is at five goals, seven points, 20 shots on net, 58 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 24 appearances.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Pots goal Wednesday
Raty scored a goal on three shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.
The one-time Islanders prospect was able to score against the team that drafted him. Raty is filling in as the fourth-line center while both of Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) and Filip Chytil (concussion) are out. Raty is up to three goals, two assists, 18 shots on net, 57 hits and a minus-1 rating over 23 NHL appearances this season, so he's unlikely to make a significant impact for fantasy.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Recalled Sunday
Raty was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Sunday, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.
Raty figures to give the Canucks some forward depth after both Elias Pettersson (undisclosed) and Nils Hoglander (undisclosed) left Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers with injuries. The 22-year-old Raty appeared in 21 games with Vancouver earlier this year, logging two goals and four points.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Loaned to AHL Abbotsford
Raty was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.
Vancouver dealt J.T. Miller to the Rangers on Friday, receiving forward Filip Chytil in return. The Canucks have only 11 healthy forwards at this time, and another move will likely happen ahead of Sunday's tilt against Detroit. Raty has two goals and four points in 21 NHL appearances this season.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Summoned from minors
Raty was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday.
Raty has two goals, two assists, 12 shots on net and 48 hits over 20 NHL appearances this season. He has eight goals and 23 points in 23 AHL outings during the 2024-25 campaign. Raty's promotion to Vancouver may not bode well for the availability of Dakota Joshua (leg) and Kiefer Sherwood (undisclosed) ahead of Wednesday's game versus Nashville.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Assigned to Abbotsford
Raty was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday.
Raty was recalled prior to Saturday's matchup with the Bruins, though he served as a healthy scratch. The 22-year-old Raty has two goals and four points in 20 games with Vancouver this year.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Brought back up

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Heads to minors
Raty was sent to AHL Abbotsford on Friday.
Raty has two goals and four points in 20 NHL appearances in 2024-25. He was a healthy scratch for Thursday's 4-0 win over Florida, which coincided with J.T. Miller's (personal) return to the lineup. Now that Miller is available, the Canucks don't have any forwards on the shelf, so that might be why Raty was sent down, but it's possible this was a paper transaction. Max Sasson was also sent to the AHL on Friday, which leaves Vancouver with just 11 forwards on its roster. Unless there's a trade, Vancouver will presumably summon a forward before facing Boston on Saturday.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Plucks apple in loss
Raty notched an assist and two hits in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Lightning.
Raty is holding down a role on the Canucks' fourth line, though he's bounced between center and wing, sharing the spots with Max Sasson. The 22-year-old Raty is up to four points, 11 shots on net, 46 hits and a minus-2 rating over 19 appearances. He still has some long-term appeal as a prospect, but he likely won't get enough ice time to make a major impact in fantasy in 2024-25.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Scores in Wednesday's loss
Raty scored a goal, added four PIM and logged four hits in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Penguins.
Raty has two goals over his last five contests while holding down a steady fourth-line spot. The Canucks seem content with him in that role -- they didn't need to move him up the lineup, as Pius Suter shifted from wing to center to cover for J.T. Miller's (personal) absence. Raty is up to three points, nine shots on net, 35 hits and eight PIM through 14 contests, so he'll provide a bit of an edge, though his offense is likely too limited to help in fantasy.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Puts away first goal of season
Raty scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Predators.
Raty also won 10 of 13 faceoffs, leading the team with a 76.9 percent win rate in the game. The goal was his first point since his season debut Oct. 9. The 22-year-old center can help his own cause by being strong at the dot in a fourth-line role. He's also added a physical element with 27 hits, eight shots on net, four PIM and a minus-2 rating in addition to his two points over 10 appearances.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Sent to AHL
Raty was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Wednesday, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports.
Raty has three goals and seven points in eight appearances with Abbotsford, as well as an assist in seven outings with Vancouver in 2024-25. He might be recalled before Thursday's game against the Islanders. Vancouver also sent Arshdeep Bains and Jonathan Lekkerimaki to the minors Wednesday, which leaves the Canucks will just nine healthy forwards on their active roster. Vancouver did that for salary cap reasons, but the squad will presumably summon forwards to fill that gap before Thursday's matchup.

Canucks' Aatu Raty: Earns assist in season debut
Raty logged an assist in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Flames.
Raty made the NHL roster out of training camp and got to play right away due to Pius Suter's (upper body) absence. Raty didn't make an NHL appearance last year, but he was excellent with 52 points in 72 regular-season outings for AHL Abbotsford. The Finnish forward, acquired from the Islanders in the Bo Horvat deal in January of 2023, may not be a full-time NHL option this year. Even if he does stick around with the big club, he'll likely be limited to bottom-six minutes.
