  • Kraken's Kaapo Kakko: Snags helper Thursday

Kakko provided an assist, fired two shots on net and added two hits in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Jets.

Kakko has three goals and two assists during his four-game point streak. The 23-year-old set up Matty Beniers' tally in the first period of this contest. Kakko has looked excellent in a top-six role for the Kraken, posting 10 points over 13 appearances since he was traded from the Rangers. The winger has 24 points, 65 shots on net, 42 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-10 rating through 43 outings overall.

  • Kraken's Jaden Schwartz: Supplies helper in loss

Schwartz notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Jets.

Schwartz has gone six games without a goal, but he's earned four assists over his last four contests. The 32-year-old winger is up to 30 points, matching his output from 62 regular-season games in 2023-24. He's done it in just 46 outings in 2024-25 while adding 105 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating. Schwartz continues to look pretty good alongside Matty Beniers and Kaapo Kakko in a top-six role, with all three forwards doing enough to be depth options in fantasy lately.

  • Kraken's Matty Beniers: Nets lone goal in loss

Beniers scored a goal and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Jets.

Beniers has two goals over his last three contests, but he was the only Kraken skater who could solve Connor Hellebuyck in this contest. The 22-year-old center has nine goals this season, five of which he's scored over his last 10 outings. Overall, he has 24 points, 81 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating through 46 games.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Unlucky loss Thursday

Daccord gave up two goals on 36 shots in Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Jets.

The Jets controlled play for much of the game, but Daccord was up to the challenge. He allowed a game-tying goal to Mark Scheifele in the second period, but it was Dylan DeMelo's tally in the final minute of the third that left the Kraken empty-handed. There's no fault in Daccord's performance -- he has allowed a total of nine goals over five appearances (three starts) since he returned from an upper-body injury. He's 14-10-2 with a 2.45 GAA and a .915 save percentage over 28 appearances. The Kraken return to Seattle for a four-game homestand that begins Saturday versus the Kings.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Starting Thursday

Daccord is expected to start on the road Thursday against Winnipeg, per the NHL media site.

Daccord has a 14-9-2 record, 2.47 GAA and .914 save percentage in 27 appearances in 2024-25. He stopped 31 of 33 shots en route 4-2 victory over Pittsburgh in his last start Tuesday. The Jets rank third in goals per game with 3.60.

  • Kraken's Brandon Tanev: Unavailable Thursday

Tanev (illness) won't play Thursday versus the Jets.

Tanev logged 13:14 of ice time versus the Penguins on Tuesday, so his illness is a fairly new development. It's unclear if he'll be healthy enough to play at home Saturday against the Kings. Tye Kartye will replace Tanev in the lineup Thursday.

  • Kraken's Shane Wright: Registers helper

Wright notched an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins.

Wright has racked up a goal and four assists over seven contests in January. The 21-year-old has not had a point drought longer than two games since he was scratched for three contests in a row in mid-November. That increased consistency has seen him rack up 21 points, 41 shots on net, 34 hits, 29 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating across 42 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Kraken's Jamie Oleksiak: Nets game-tying goal

Oleksiak scored a goal on three shots, added three hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins.

Oleksiak cut through the Penguins defense and tied the game at 2-2, and Eeli Tolvanen followed it up for the go-ahead tally 50 seconds later. The goal was Oleksiak's first since Oct. 29 versus the Canadiens. The 32-year-old has two points over his last three outings but has just nine points through 45 contests overall. He's added 35 hits, 38 shots on net, 100 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating. Oleksiak was on the third pairing Tuesday after head coach Dan Bylsma shuffled his lines following an embarrassment in Detroit on Sunday, but the blueliner has typically seen top-four minutes this season.

  • Kraken's Eeli Tolvanen: Deposits goal in win

Tolvanen scored a goal and added three hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins.

Tolvanen has three goals over his last four games but had gone nine contests without a point prior to that stretch. His inconsistency has led to him slipping out of a power-play role, which hinders his chances of getting his offense going again. The 25-year-old winger is at 11 goals, seven assists, 73 shots on net, 132 hits, 33 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating through 45 appearances this season, mainly in a third-line role.

  • Kraken's Kaapo Kakko: Pots empty-netter

Kakko scored an empty-net goal and added 10 PIM in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins.

Kakko scored an empty-netter and received a misconduct penalty for abuse of officials late in the third period. The 23-year-old has been on a roll lately with three goals and five assists over his last eight games while seeing top-six minutes. He's up to 23 points, 63 shots, 40 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 42 appearances between the Kraken and the Rangers, with nine of his points coming in 12 games with Seattle.

  • Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Nets shortie in Tuesday's win

Stephenson scored a shorthanded goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins.

Stephenson has flipped a switch on offense in January, racking up three goals and four assists over seven games this month. The 30-year-old center is up to six tallies, 30 points (13 on the power play), 42 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 44 appearances. Stephenson adds little physicality and is more of a playmaker than a goalscorer, so his fantasy value varies depending on the format.

  • Kraken's Adam Larsson: Two helpers in Tuesday's win

Larsson collected two assists in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins.

Both helpers came in the third period as the Kraken rallied from a 2-1 deficit. It was Larsson's first multi-point performance since he erupted for three assists Dec. 5 against the Islanders. However, in between those efforts, the veteran blueliner managed just two points (one goal and one assist) in 17 contests with 32 blocked shots, 19 hits, 16 shots on net and a minus-6 rating.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Secures second straight win

Daccord made 31 saves in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins. He also added a shorthanded assist.

Pittsburgh found the back of the net in each of the first two periods, but Daccord shut the door in the third as Seattle rallied from a 2-1 deficit. The 28-year-old netminder has appeared in four straight games -- two starts and two relief appearances -- and has gone 2-0-0 with a 2.16 GAA and .923 save percentage. Since Philipp Grubauer has struggled in January (0-4-1 with a 4.61 GAA and .828 save percentage in five outings), Daccord seems poised to reclaim the top job in the Kraken crease.

  • Kraken's Joey Daccord: Tending twine in Pittsburgh

Daccord was the first netminder off the ice at Tuesday's morning skate, indicating he'll draw the road start versus the Penguins on Tuesday, per Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports.

Daccord has made three appearances in January -- he won his only start Saturday in Buffalo but has been forced into relief action twice due to Philipp Grubauer's struggles. The Penguins sit 15th in the league with 2.98 goals per game this season.
