  • Golden Knights' William Carrier: Gets goal in second game back

Carrier scored a goal on two shots and added five hits in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Devils.

Carrier tied the game at 1-1 with a goal in his second game back from an upper-body injury that kept him sidelined for more than two months. The 29-year-old winger has resumed his usual fourth-line role, so he doesn't offer much fantasy upside. He's produced six goals, two assists, 58 shots on net and 76 hits through 35 outings this season.

  • Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin: Two helpers against Devils

Hanifin notched two assists in Sunday's 3-1 win over New Jersey.

Both helpers came in the third period after Logan Thompson and Jake Allen had kept the game scoreless for the first 40 minutes. • Golden Knights' Logan Thompson: Back in win column

Thompson made 20 saves on 21 shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Devils.

Nico Hischier spoiled his shutout bid 38 seconds into the third period, but otherwise Thompson stood tall in his first action since coughing up seven goals against the Sabres on Mar. 2. The win was the first since Feb. 19 for the 27-year-old netminder, and on the season Thompson is 18-12-5 with a 2.82 GAA and .904 save percentage through 36 appearances. Adin Hill has been scuffling over the last few weeks, going 2-4-0 in his last six starts with a 3.88 GAA, so Thompson could see his workload increase down the stretch as the Golden Knights look to lock up a playoff spot.

  • Golden Knights' Ben Hutton: No path to playing time

Hutton has not played since he was activated from injured reserve Feb. 12.

Hutton is stuck in the unenviable role of a seventh defenseman. He nearly had a chance to get in the lineup when Alec Martinez (undisclosed) went on injured reserve, but the Golden Knights' trade for Noah Hanifin closed that door quickly. Hutton hasn't played in 2024 and has nine points through 31 outings this season.
