Mintyukov notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Lightning.
Mintyukov helped out on Robby Fabbri's game-tying goal in the third period. Mintyukov is one of the Ducks' blueliners that's cycled in and out of the lineup, along with Olen Zellweger and Drew Helleson. For the season, Mintyukov has 10 points, 44 shots on net, 58 blocked shots, 41 hits and a minus-5 rating over 37 appearances. When he's in the lineup, he often sees power-play time, though he has just two power-play points so far.

Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Deals helper in shootout loss
Trouba notched an assist, three hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Lightning.
Trouba has two helpers over nine outings in January. He continues to be heavily limited on offense, but he's in a top-four role on the blue line and adds plenty of physicality. McTavish was at left wing Thursday after frequently playing in a middle-six role at center this season. He was still involved on faceoffs, winning eight of his 10 draws. Fabbri ended his eight-game point drought with a third-period tally to force overtime. During his slump, Fabbri's ice time has dropped slightly, but he remains in a middle-six role. The 28-year-old winger is up to seven goals, four assists, 48 shots on net, 45 hits and a minus-7 rating over 32 appearances. The Ducks don't have a particularly strong offense, so a depth player like Fabbri isn't a great choice for fantasy managers.

It's a cautionary tale for fantasy managers in redraft formats to avoid getting caught in the excitement. So far, he has 16 points and 53 shots over 39 games this season, which is a step back for the sophomore.

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Toe-to-toe with Vasilevskiy
Dostal made 32 saves in a 4-3 shootout loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday.
Dostal is 3-4-1 in his last eight starts and 11-12-4 in 26 starts with a 2.88 GAA and .910 save percentage this season. Dostal went toe-to-toe with Andrei Vasilevskiy all night long, including the shootout where just one goal was scored, which was a tally by Jake Guentzel. Dostal has been impressive this year, but he needs is the rest of his team to step up and score -- the Ducks have a minus-31 goal differential, which is the fourth-worst mark in the NHL. If the team can tidy that up, Dostal's numbers should take a big leap.

Dostal will protect the road goal versus the Lightning on Thursday.
Dostal is 3-3-0 with a 3.32 GAA and an .892 save percentage over his last six outings. The 24-year-old did not face the Lightning when they visited Anaheim on Jan. 5, a game the Ducks won 4-1 with John Gibson in goal. The Lightning remain an intimidating opponent, so many fantasy managers will have better options than Dostal available on a 13-game Thursday slate.

Ducks' John Gibson: Saddled with loss
Gibson stopped 22 of 25 shots faced during Tuesday's 3-0 road loss to the Capitals.
Gibson has now conceded his last three starts since a 4-1 win over the Lightning on Jan. 5, allowing three or more goals in each of those losses. The 31-year-old is having a bounce-back season after a couple of down years but is facing a stiff challenge from rookie Lukas Dostal for the starter's workload, which makes him a less reliable fantasy asset than he has been in recent seasons.

Ducks' Brock McGinn: Still contending with injury
Head coach Greg Cronin announced Tuesday that McGinn (lower body) is not close to a return, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
McGinn has missed 10 consecutive games after getting hurt Dec. 23 against the Golden Knights. The left-shot winger has been on injured reserve since Dec. 29 and his return does not appear to be imminent. McGinn has accounted for four goals, four helpers and a plus-1 rating across 26 appearances in 2024-25.

Terry appears ready to return to the lineup against Washington on Tuesday after missing the last four games. While occupying a top-six role and a spot on the top power-play combination, he has amassed 14 goals, 33 points and 102 shots through 39 appearances this season. Terry could replace Nikita Nesterenko in Tuesday's lineup.
