Kings' Pheonix Copley: Done for season
Per John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio, Copley (knee) underwent successful ACL surgery earlier in the week and will be lost for the season.
Copley was injured three weeks ago during practice and was replaced on the roster by David Rittich. Copley was 4-1-2 with a 3.16 GAA and an .870 save percentage, losing his No. 1 job to Cam Talbot early in the season. Copley was outstanding last season, going 24-6-3 with a 2.64 GAA and a .903 save percentage, leading the Kings into the playoffs after Jonathan Quick was unable to hold down the top job. Copley is expected to be ready for the start of training camp and will be looking for a new contract as he is slated to be a UFA at the end of the season.

Kings' Pheonix Copley: Placed on LTIR
Copley (undisclosed) was put on long-term injured reserve Sunday.
Copley, who was injured during practice Friday, will be out for at least 10 games and 24 days following his placement on LTIR. Copley sustained the injury during Friday's practice. He has a 4-1-2 record, 3.17 GAA and .870 save percentage in eight contests this season. David Rittich was summoned from AHL Ontario on Friday and is projected to back up Cam Talbot on Saturday, though LA's starter hasn't been confirmed. There's no timetable for Copley's return, but given that he isn't traveling with the team, he will likely also miss Tuesday's game in San Jose. The Kings will then return home to host the Kraken on Wednesday.

Kings' Pheonix Copley: Injured at practice
Copley suffered an undisclosed injury at practice Friday and needed to be helped off the ice, Russell Morgan of Hockey Royalty reports.
Based on the Kings' goalie rotation, Copley was unlikely to play against Seattle on Saturday anyway, but his injury could force the Kings to bring David Rittich up from the minors to back up Cam Talbot. The team has a back-to-back coming up Tuesday and Wednesday versus the Sharks and Kraken, respectively, which could be complicated if Copley can't play.

Copley allowed four goals on 27 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers.
After holding the Rangers off the board in the first period, Copley surrendered two goals apiece in the second and third frames en route to a 4-1 defeat. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Copley -- he'd posted a .949 save percentage in that span.
