  • Blackhawks' Taylor Hall: Practices Saturday

Hall (lower body) took part in Saturday's practice, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Hall skated on a line with Connor Bedard, which is projected to continue into the season. Hall didn't practice Thursday or Friday due to his lower-body injury, but he told Pope on Saturday that he missed those two days for precautionary reasons.

  • Blackhawks' Taylor Raddysh: Good to go for start of camp

Raddysh (groin) is listed on the Blackhawks' training camp roster that was released Thursday, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Most of the focus Thursday was on Connor Bedard's first moments in NHL camp, so it's unclear what kind of role Raddysh filled during practice. Raddysh missed time with a groin injury at the end of 2022-23 -- he ended the season with 37 points in 78 contests. The 25-year-old winger has a chance to be a top-six option in 2023-24, and he could have an elevated fantasy profile if he lands one of the winger spots alongside Bedard.

  • Blackhawks' Jarred Tinordi: Participates in drills Thursday

Tinordi (hip) was paired with Nolan Allan for drills during Thursday's first training camp practice, Mario Tirabassi of CHGO Sports reports.

The Blackhawks opted to pair rookies with veterans on defense for the first day of practice. Tinordi had eight points in 44 games last season, but he was limited by hip, face and lower-body injuries at various points in the season. His defensive playing style makes him an injury risk, but for now, he appears ready to go to begin 2023-24.

  • Blackhawks' Colin Blackwell: Doesn't practice Thursday

Blackwell (lower body) missed Thursday's practice, according to Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago.

Blackwell didn't play past Feb. 27 last season due to a sports hernia, but it's not clear if his current lower-body injury is in any way related or a new issue. He had two goals and 10 points in 53 contests last season.

  • Blackhawks' Jalen Luypen: Misses Thursday's practice

Luypen (lower body) didn't participate in Thursday's practice, per Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago.

The silver lining is that Luypen did skate on his own before the Blackhawks' practice began. He had 18 goals and 39 points in 38 WHL contests with Tri-City in 2022-23.

  • Blackhawks' Taylor Hall: Dealing with lower-body injury

Hall wasn't available for Thursday's practice because of a lower-body injury, Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

Hall's lower-body injury wasn't seen as too concerning to Blackhawks coach Luke Richardson, but he also said that they'll hopefully know more "tomorrow or the next few days." Hall, who Chicago acquired from Boston over the summer, is penciled in to play alongside Connor Bedard and Tyler Johnson on the first line to start the season. Ryan Donato served in Hall's spot during Thursday's skate.

  • Blackhawks' Cole Guttman: Ready for training camp

Guttman (shoulder surgery) is healthy and ready for the start of training camp, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Guttman suffered a separated shoulder in February but continued to play another two weeks before he was shut down for surgery. He has completely recovered and should be in the mix for a bottom-two spot at center. The speedy 24-year-old made his NHL debut last season, scoring four times and adding a pair of assists in only 14 contests.
