Mammoth's Liam O'Brien: Slumping on offense
O'Brien's point drought is up to 12 games after he was held off the scoresheet in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
He has four shots on net, 12 PIM and 35 hits during the slump, which also saw him scratched for four games from Jan. 5-11. O'Brien offers little offense even in the best of times, so he's not going to be a factor in many fantasy formats. For the season, he has three points, 23 shots on net, 29 PIM and 70 hits across 26 outings.

Mammoth's Clayton Keller: Puts up pair of helpers
Keller notched two assists and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Keller didn't score, extending his goal drought to eight games, but he was a big part of solidifying this win. He set up Nate Schmidt on the game-winner at 14:30 of the third period and Lawson Crouse just 42 seconds later for an insurance tally. During the goal drought, Keller still has 10 assists, 18 shots on net and a plus-10 rating. The captain is up to 46 points (13 goals, 33 assists), 133 shots on net and a plus-15 rating through 49 appearances.

Mammoth's Kevin Stenlund: Scores shortie in win
Stenlund scored a shorthanded goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Stenlund snapped an 11-game point drought with his first-period tally, answering Jordan Eberle's opening goal. During his slump, Stenlund had just five shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating. The 29-year-old is up to four goals, 11 points (two shorthanded), 41 shots on net, 39 blocks, 25 hits, 18 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 48 appearances, mainly in a bottom-six role.

Mammoth's Barrett Hayton: Fills empty cage
Hayton scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Hayton ended a month-long goal drought, a span in which he still chipped in six assists and a plus-7 rating over 13 games. The 25-year-old has mostly played in a middle-six role lately, as he hasn't been consistent enough to bump Nick Schmaltz from the top-line center job. Hayton is now at five goals, 14 points, 71 shots on net, 32 PIM, 22 blocked shots, 15 hits and a plus-4 rating across 44 outings.

Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: Nets goal Saturday
Schmaltz scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Schmaltz's hot January continues -- he has six goals and five assists over nine outings this month. The 29-year-old put the Mammoth up 3-1 in the second period, and while that lead didn't last, the team's strong third period was enough for the win. Schmaltz is up to 18 goals, 44 points, 118 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating over 49 appearances. His career highs of 23 goals and 63 points are both likely to be bested this season if he stays healthy, despite him being on track for his worst power-play year since 2022-23.

Mammoth's Nate Schmidt: Matches offensive highs Saturday
Schmidt had two goals, including the game-winner, and two assists in a 6-3 win over Seattle on Saturday.
Schmidt's four points matched his single-game NHL-career high of four assists against the Flames on Nov. 17, 2019. His first helper in Saturday's win was also the 200th of his career, joining Torey Krug (394) and Neal Pionk (218) as the third active undrafted defenseman to reach the milestone, according to Matt Komma of NHL.com. Schmidt has four goals and 18 points through 49 appearances this season.

Mammoth's Cole Beaudoin: Big game for Barrie
Beaudoin scored twice and added an assist in OHL Barrie's 4-2 win over Oshawa on Saturday.
Beaudoin rattled off his fifth straight multi-point effort. He has four goals and eight assists in that span. For the season, the Mammoth prospect has 18 goals and 35 helpers through 30 appearances with the Colts. He's well on his way to chasing down his career-high 62 points from the 2023-24 regular season, and he's successfully shaken off any lingering concerns after a somewhat unimpressive 51-point effort from 2024-25.

Iginla logged three assists in WHL Kelowna's 5-2 win over Calgary on Friday.
Iginla is producing at nearly the same level as last season. He has 15 goals and 33 points through 21 outings this season, one better than he had in the same number of games in 2024-25. Iginla also impressed for Canada with eight points in seven games at the World Junior Championship. The Mammoth prospect should continue to pile up points for a competitive WHL club.

He's up to four goals, 23 points, 40 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a plus-26 rating through 48 appearances in what's likely to be a career year.

For the season, the first-line forward has earned 17 goals, 43 points, 115 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 48 appearances. He's elevated his play this year and is on track to reach the 70-point mark for the first time.

Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Sharp in win
Vejmelka allowed one goal on 27 shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Stars.
Vejmelka didn't get a ton of help, but he was up to the challenge to earn his fifth straight win. He's allowed just seven goals in that span, though the Stars are by far the toughest opponent he's seen during the streak. For the season, the 29-year-old netminder is up to 22-11-2 with a 2.53 GAA and a .901 save percentage over 36 outings. The Mammoth's next game is a fairly favorable home matchup against the Kraken on Saturday. With no back-to-back sets over the next week, Vejmelka figures to see a fairly steady workload in the near future.

Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: First goalie off Thursday
Vejmelka was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports reports, indicating he'll guard the cage at home versus Dallas.
Vejmelka is riding a four-game winning streak during which he has posted a 1.49 GAA and .943 save percentage. The 29-year-old netminder currently leads the NHL with 21 wins, and his 35 starts trail only Nashville's Juuse Saros (36). At this rate, Vejmelka should be a lock for the 30-win threshold and should even push for 40. If he continues to rack up wins, Vejmelka could find himself receiving a Vezina Trophy nomination at the end of the year.
