  • Bengals' Jonah Williams: Requests trade Friday

Williams (kneecap) requested to be traded from the Bengals on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Following the team's signing of Orlando Brown on Wednesday, Williams wants out of Cincinnati. The offensive tackle has made 47 career starts at left tackle and seemingly appears to want to stay in that role moving forward. The 25-year-old would instantly become the best tackle available on the market if he does get set free.

  • Bengals' Jonah Williams: Not practicing Wednesday

Williams (kneecap) isn't practicing Wednesday, Andrew Gillis of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Williams was sidelined for the Bengals' divisional-round win over Buffalo due to the dislocated kneecap he suffered in Cincinnati's win over the Ravens in the wild-card round a week earlier. He's not yet trending in the right direction toward a return to the lineup, but he'll have two more chances to practice before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs. If Williams remains sidelined, Jackson Carman would presumably step in once again as the Bengals' starting left tackle.
