The Giants placed Kalu on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. After playing 15 games for the Titans last season, Kalu signed with the Giants in late March. The 25-year-old safety played primarily on special teams in 2020, and he'll likely fill the same role with his new team. Kalu signed with the Giants on Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports. Kalu played 15 games with the Titans last season. The 25-year-old safety finished tied for second on the team with eight special-teams tackles. Kalu was placed on injured reserve Monday with an undisclosed injury, John Glennon of The Athletic reports. Kalu's placement coincides with the team claiming defensive back Chris Milton off waivers Monday. It's unclear what sort of injury Kalu is dealing with, but his 2019 campaign is likely over.... Kalu was let go by the Titans on Sunday, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports. Kalu signed with Tennessee back an May as an undrafted rookie out of Nebraska. He'll look to catch on as a depth safety or cornerback with another club in 2018.... See More ... See Less
