The watch lists have arrived in college football. The annual individual awards given at the end of the season will be rolling out their initial lists over the next couple weeks, and college football fans get their first round of debatable distinctions for 2012.
The Doak Walker Award is given annually to the best running back in college football, and on Thursday the watch list for the award was released featuring the names of 52 players across the country. Of the 52 players, four were semi-finalists for the award in 2011: Montee Ball, Joseph Randle, Rex Burkhead and Zach Line.
