New Jersey traded Mukhamadullin, Fabian Zetterlund, Nikita Okhotyuk, Andreas Johnsson and three draft picks, including a 2023 first, to the Sharks in exchange for Timo Meier (upper body), Scott Harrington, Timur Ibragimov, Santeri Hatakka, Zachary Emond and a fifth-round pick Sunday.

Devils' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Lands entry-level deal
Mukhamadullin signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Devils on Wednesday. He's also been loaned back to Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the KHL for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign.

Mukhamadullin underwent shoulder surgery in May, but he's expected to be ready for the start of the next KHL season, Corey Masisak of The Athletic reports.
Mukhamadullin produced three goals and seven assists in 39 contests with Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the KHL last season. A first-round pick from 2020, Mukhamadullin is expected to spend at least one more year in his native Russia before making the jump to North America's AHL.
