  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Stays with Indy on two-year deal

Dulin agreed Wednesday with the Colts on a two-year, $7.2 million contract, Matt Adams of Fox 59 Indianapolis reports. Dulin's 2022 season got off to a strong start and he appeared to be gaining traction as the Colts' No. 2 or No. 3 receiver, but he then hurt his foot. He had 12 receptions for 168 yards on 18 targets over his first five games, but after missing the next four games with the injury, he was limited to just three receptions for 39 yards in six games upon his return to the lineup. Before the injury, he looked like he was a player on the rise, but his late-season fade puts his role for 2023 in question. Still, the Colts' decision to bring Dulin back on a new deal shows the organization still believes in his potential, and a new head coach and quarterback can't help but improve his outlook.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: No targets in return from injury

Dulin was not targeted in the passing game while playing 14 snaps on offense during Sunday's 32-31 defeat to the Texans. He had missed the prior game after a concussion, but he was able to play in the season finale. Dulin's season got off to a strong start as it looked like he was set to become the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver, but he then hurt his foot. He had 12 receptions for 168 yards on 18 targets and was outplaying Parris Campbell. Dulin then missed four games due to a foot injury and was barely a factor when he returned. He had just three receptions for 39 yards on four targets over his final six games. Before the injury, it looked like he was a player on the rise, but his late-season fade will put his spot on the depth chart in doubt for 2023, with Indy likely to revamp a putrid offense.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Cleared for Week 18

Dulin doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the Texans. As expected, Dulin, who was sidelined for Week 17 with a concussion, will be available for Week 18 after logging full practices Wednesday through Friday. Across 11 appearances this season, the fourth-year wideout has caught 15 of 22 targets for 207 yards and one touchdown.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Full go to start Week 18 prep

Dulin (concussion) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice. Dulin, who was sidelined for Week 17, appears to be in the final stages of concussion protocol and, barring a setback, should be able to return in Week 18. The fourth-year wideout has caught 15 of 22 targets for 207 yards and one touchdown across 11 appearances this season.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Will miss Week 17

Dulin (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants. Dulin has yet to pass the league's five-step concussion protocol. If he's unable to do so before the Colts face Houston in Week 18, the 25-year-old wide receiver would finish the season with 15 catches for 207 yards and one touchdown on 22 targets.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Misses second straight practice

Dulin (concussion) is not practicing Thursday, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports. Dulin remains in the league's five-step concussion protocol due to a hit sustained during Monday's loss to the Chargers. His last chance to get back on the practice field prior to Sunday's game against the Giants will be Friday. If Dulin isn't available Week 17, depth wideout Mike Strachan could see a slightly increased role.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Absent from practice

Dulin (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report. Dulin entered the concussion protocol during Monday's loss to the Chargers after he was on the receiving end of a helmet-to-helmet hit from safety Derwin James, a play that got James ejected from the contest. Whether Dulin will be able to clear the five-step protocol in time for Sunday's game with the Giants remains to be seen, but his activity in practices Thursday and Friday should help determine his status.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Out with concussion

Dulin won't return after suffering a concussion during the second quarter of Monday's game against the Chargers, Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports. The injury in question occurred after the receiver attempted to catch a pass in the flat before Chargers safety Derwin James blew up the play with a helmet-to-helmet hit that drew a targeting penalty and an ejection for the defender. Dulin finishes Monday's game without a reception across eight snaps.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Two catches, one carry in Week 15

Dulin caught both of his targets for 25 yards and rushed once for five yards in Saturday's 39-36 overtime loss to the Vikings. Dulin's three touches marked his highest total since Week 2. His role on offense will remain limited as long as all three of Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell and Alec Pierce are healthy.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Catches TD in loss

Dulin had one reception for a 14-yard touchdown on two targets in Sunday's loss at Dallas. He played only 20 of the offense's 72 snaps and went out on 10 routes. Dulin looked set to have a larger role in the offense early in the season, but since missing four games with a foot injury, he's had minimal involvement largely due to the improved play of Parris Campbell. Dulin's targets Sunday were his first since Week 5.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Not targeted as No. 4 receiver

Dulin went without a target while playing 22 of the Colts' 64 snaps on offense in Monday's 24-17 loss to the Steelers. Since returning from injured reserve Week 10, Dulin has yet to draw a look in the passing game despite playing 52 snaps on offense. He'll remain an afterthought in the Indianapolis passing offense behind the starting receiver trio of Michael Pittman, Parris Campbell and Alec Pierce, running back Jonathan Taylor and the tight-end triumvirate of Kylen Granson (illness), Jelani Woods and Mo Alie-Cox.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: No targets in return from injury

Dulin stated the game as an outside receiver in a three-receiver set but didn't have a reception or target in Sunday's win at Las Vegas. Dulin played on 20 of the offense's 64 snaps and went out on nine routes. It was his first game back after missing four games due to a foot injury. Dulin's role in the offense could grow, as he was outplaying Parris Campbell before he was hurt.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Returns to active roster

Dulin (foot) was activated off injured reserve Saturday. Dulin wound up missing the minimum four games after injuring his foot back in Week 5. The veteran receiver had a combined four receptions in the three weeks prior to the injury and likely will return to a receiving corps that's more developed with the emergence of Alec Pierce and Parris Campbell.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Cleared for practice

Indianapolis designated Dulin (foot) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Kevin Hickey of USA Today reports. Dulin has resided on IR since he suffered a foot injury during the Colts' Week 5 game against the Broncos. The transaction opens up a 21-day window during which the Colts can evaluate Dulin for a return to the 53-man roster, but if he isn't activated within the next three weeks, the receiver will stay on IR for the remainder of the campaign. Dulin turned in a 12-168-0 receiving line on 18 targets through Indianapolis' first five games.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Not shut down for 2022

Colts head coach Frank Reich said Wednesday that Dulin, who's currently on injured reserve with a foot injury, is expected to return this season, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports. Dulin was placed on IR on Tuesday after suffering the injury during the team's overtime win at Denver last Thursday. He'll be forced to miss at least four games and could be sidelined beyond that, but he should be back before the 2022 campaign concludes. Dulin had recorded at least one catch in all five of his appearances this season, but he secured just four receptions for 43 yards over the past three games after recording eight catches for 125 yards during the first two contests. In his absence, Mike Strachan and Parris Campbell are candidates for increased snaps behind Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Heads to injured reserve

The Colts placed Dulin (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday. Dulin made an early departure from the Colts' eventual overtime win at Denver last Thursday. His foot injury is serious enough to sideline the fourth-year pro for at least the next four games, meaning he isn't eligible to return to the active roster until Sunday, Nov. 13 against Las Vegas at the earliest. Dulin wasn't seeing much usage, but Parris Campbell and Mike Strachan could see a handful of additional reps as reserve wide receivers behind Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Dealing with foot injury

Dulin is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Broncos due to a foot injury, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports. It's unclear when Dulin suffered the injury, but he managed one reception for 18 yards prior to his exit. If he's unable to return, Mike Strachan could step into a larger role in the Colts' Week 5 receiving corps.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Moves to lesser role

Dulin had just one reception for seven yards on his lone target in Sunday's win over Kansas City. With both Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce returning from injuries, Dulin returned to his fourth receiver role. Dulin played on just 18 of the offense's 71 snaps. However, he's shown more this season than starter Parris Campbell (just five receptions in three games), so it wouldn't be surprising to see Dulin overtake Campbell for a larger role in the offense before too long.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Week 3 Waiver Priority List

We'll see if Michael Pittman can return in Week 3 against the Chiefs, as well as Alec Pierce, but Ashton Dulin can be an option for Fantasy managers in deeper leagues if one of both remain out. Dulin had seven targets in Week 2 at Jacksonville for five catches and 79 yards. He also had six targets in Week 1 when Pittman was healthy and finished with three catches for 46 yards. He's worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Colts' Ashton Dulin: Six targets in season opener

Dulin had three receptions for 46 yards on six targets in Sunday's tie at Houston. Alec Pierce started in a three-receiver set with Dulin on the bench to begin the game as the fourth receiver, but Dulin had more targets (Pierce had two) and nearly as many snaps (32 to Pierce's 47). It was Pierce's first game as a rookie, and he should improve even after a big drop in the end zone Sunday, so Dulin likely will stay the No. 4 receiver. However, it's worth tracking Dulin in case Pierce fails to hold on to the starting role or the oft-injured Parris Campbell goes down again. Dulin's role in the passing game continues to trend upward after an enticing 2021 season.
