The Packers waived Miller on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports. He didn't record a reception in any of Green Bay's three preseason games and will look for opportunities elsewhere once he clears waivers.

  • Packers' Dre Miller: Joins Green Bay

The Packers signed Miller on Tuesday. Miller signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and spent most of his rookie campaign on their practice squad. However, he's dealt with numerous injuries during his short time in the NFL and ultimately reached an injury settlement with New York a week ago. He's presumably healthy now and will look to carve out a role in Green Bay's young wideout corps, which is currently without two rookies in Dontayvion Wicks (concussion) and Grant DuBose (undisclosed).

  • Dre Miller: Gets cut loose

Miller (undisclosed) was waived by the Giants from injured reserve Monday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Miller was unable to take part in minicamp due to the unknown injury and was placed on IR on June 17. Instead of being forced to miss the entire 2023 campaign, he'll now have the opportunity to join another team as long as he can prove he's healthy.

  • Andre Miller: Back with Big Blue

The Giants re-signed Miller to their practice squad Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Miller was set to miss the entire 2022 campaign after landing on IR due to a broken wrist, but he reached an injury settlement and was waived at the beginning of September. Now that he's healthy, he's rejoined the team's practice squad and will likely serve as an emergency depth option while the Giants are without rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger (eye).

  • Giants' Andre Miller: Lands on IR

The Giants placed Miller (wrist) on injured reserve Tuesday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. Miller broke his wrist during an early-August practice and has been sidelined since. Barring an injury settlement, the 6-foot-3 tight end will miss the entire 2022 campaign. His absence shouldn't impact the landscape of the Giants' tight end room.

  • Giants' Andre Miller: Officially out Sunday

Miller (wrist) won't play in Sunday's preseason matchup against the Bengals, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. Miller sustained a broken wrist during practice in early August and has been in a cast recently. He hasn't been placed on IR, but he'll unsurprisingly be held out for a second consecutive matchup to begin the preseason.

  • Giants' Andre Miller: Suffers broken wrist

Miller broke his wrist during practice Sunday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports. It's a brutal break for Miller, who had been handling first-team reps as a tight end and fullback, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reports. Consequently, the fullback job is now wide open, and the injury figures to close the door on Miller's chances of making New York's initial 53-man roster for 2022.
