Giants' Dre Miller: Inks new deal with Giants
The Giants signed Miller to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Miller joined up with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in May, but he broke his wrist in early August and was placed on injured reserve. The team then waived him from IR with an injury settlement Sept. 2, and he went un-signed before rejoining the Giants' practice squad Oct. 25. Miller now will look to stay healthy heading into the 2023 campaign in order to make his NFL debut.

The Giants re-signed Miller to their practice squad Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Miller was set to miss the entire 2022 campaign after landing on IR due to a broken wrist, but he reached an injury settlement and was waived at the beginning of September. Now that he's healthy, he's rejoined the team's practice squad and will likely serve as an emergency depth option while the Giants are without rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger (eye).

The Giants waived Miller (wrist) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Miller broke his wrist during an early-August practice and was set to miss the entire 2022 campaign after reverting to New York's injured reserve list. However, he'll now be free to join a new team once he's fully healthy. The 6-foot-3 tight end signed with the Giants in May as an undrafted free agent out of Maine, where he caught 39 passes for 684 yards and three scores during his final collegiate campaign.

Miller broke his wrist during an early-August practice and has been sidelined since. Barring an injury settlement, the 6-foot-3 tight end will miss the entire 2022 campaign. His absence shouldn't impact the landscape of the Giants' tight end room.

The fact that he hasn't been put on IR, and consequently forced to miss the rest of the season, shows Miller may have already done enough to prove he deserves a spot on the Giants' roster.

Miller broke his wrist during practice Sunday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
It's a brutal break for Miller, who had been handling first-team reps as a tight end and fullback, Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post reports. Consequently, the fullback job is now wide open, and the injury figures to close the door on Miller's chances of making New York's initial 53-man roster for 2022.
