The Seahawks waived Hebert on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Hebert latched on with Seattle as an undrafted free agent in May and caught three of four targets for 21 yards during preseason play. The 24-year-old out of Louisiana Tech could still land a spot on the Seahawks' practice squad.
