Chiefs' Armani Watts: Placed on reserve/COVID-19 list
Watts was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports. The safety tested positive for COVID-19 Tuesday, putting his availability for Sunday's game against the Steelers in considerable doubt. Assuming he's vaccinated, Watts would still have the ability to suit up this weekend if he's asymptomatic of the virus or able to turn in two consecutive negative tests before the contest. Chiefs' Armani Watts: May have suffered concussion

Chiefs' Armani Watts: Back at practice
Watts (ankle) returned to Chiefs practice last Saturday, Matt McMullen of the team's official site reports. The rookie fourth-round pick missed the first two days of training camp, and he'll need to capitalize on every opportunity to show he belongs. His 4.64 40-yard dash time is concerning for a safety, but Watts has impressive tackling ability, as he notched 87 tackles (10 for a loss) in his senior season at Texas A&M. Watts will have a chance to shoulder a hefty workload depending on how he progresses through preseason.... See More ... See Less
