  • Devils' Brian Halonen: Waived for AHL demotion

Halonen was placed on waivers Monday to be assigned to AHL Utica.

Halonen has one goal, one assist, seven shots on net and 28 hits in 15 NHL outings this season. He also has 19 goals and 32 points in 48 appearances at the AHL level in 2025-26.

  • Devils' Lenni Hameenaho: Sent down Monday

Hameenaho was assigned to AHL Utica on Monday.

Hameenaho has gotten his first taste of NHL action this year, recording two goals, six assists, 20 hits and 16 blocked shots while averaging 12:11 of ice time across 33 appearances. He'll head back to the minors just before the end of the regular season, and it's unclear whether he'll spend any more time with New Jersey this year.

  • Devils' Jack Hughes: Supplies two assists Sunday

Hughes registered two assists, one on the power play and the other shorthanded, while adding three shots on net and two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.

Hughes has six multi-point efforts over his last nine games, totaling seven goals and 11 assists in that span. The 24-year-old is up to 77 points (23 on the power play, two shorthanded), 226 shots on net, 32 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 60 appearances this season. Even with time lost due to injuries, this is the second-most productive campaign in his career, and it shows he could challenge for the 100-point mark if he can stay fully healthy in 2026-27.

  • Devils' Connor Brown: Tallies shorthanded goal

Brown scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.

Brown has chipped in consistent offense over the last month, earning seven goals and eight assists across his last 16 games. The 32-year-old's tally was his second shortie of the campaign. He's up to 18 goals, 43 points, 115 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 74 appearances this season. Brown has matched his career high in points from the 2019-20 campaign with the Senators, and he'll get one chance to set a new personal best Tuesday against the Bruins.

  • Devils' Dawson Mercer: Goal, assist in overtime win

Mercer scored a shorthanded goal on five shots and added an assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.

Mercer set up Nico Hischier on the opening tally, and Hischier returned the favor when Mercer scored to tie the game at 3-3 in the third period. The 24-year-old Mercer has five goals and an assist over seven outings in April. He's up to 20 goals, 42 points, 156 shots on net, 47 blocked shots, 33 PIM, 32 hits and a minus-2 rating over 81 contests this season. Assuming he plays Tuesday in Boston, Mercer will complete his fifth straight campaign without missing a game to open his career.

  • Devils' Nico Hischier: Three points in overtime win

Hischier scored twice on five shots and added an assist in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.

Hischier opened the scoring at 5:12 of the first period. He later set up Dawson Mercer's game-tying shorthanded goal in the third and then scored another of his own on the power play 3:18 into the extra session. Hischier had gone nine games without a goal prior to Sunday, but he had eight assists in that span. The 27-year-old center is at 28 goals, 66 points (23 on the power play), 211 shots on net, 62 blocked shots, 58 hits and a minus-6 rating over 81 appearances this season.

  • Devils' Nico Daws: Picks up overtime win

Daws stopped 27 of 30 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.

Daws will likely finish the regular season in the NHL because Jacob Markstrom (undisclosed) was shut down Friday due to nagging injuries. With just one more game on the schedule, it's unclear if Daws will get another chance to prove himself. The 25-year-old has earned the win in both of his NHL games in 2025-26, allowing a total of four goals on 61 shots. He's also posted a 15-16-11 record with a 2.84 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 42 appearances with AHL Utica. Daws is slated to be a restricted free agent in the summer, but his outlook for NHL playing time isn't great since Markstrom and Jake Allen are also under contract for next season.

  • Devils' Johnny Kovacevic: Pockets assist in win

Kovacevic notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings.

Kovacevic has earned four assists over his last nine outings. The 28-year-old is filling a top-four role and a spot on the penalty kill. He's had a relatively quiet campaign with just eight assists, 29 shots on net, 56 hits, 38 blocked shots and 38 PIM across 32 appearances. He missed the first half of the campaign while recovering from a knee surgery.

  • Devils' Dennis Cholowski: Gathers helper in win

Cholowski recorded an assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings.

This was Cholowski's second game in the lineup since his March 6 call-up from AHL Utica. The 28-year-old blueliner is getting a chance to play in place of Luke Hughes (undisclosed), who was shut down early this season to undergo a procedure. Through 17 NHL appearances in 2025-26, Cholowski has two assists, 12 shots on net and 17 blocked shots.

  • Devils' Cody Glass: Scores in Saturday's win

Glass scored a goal on three shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings.

Glass has four goals over six outings in April. The 27-year-old center has had a good year from the third line, racking up 19 goals, 26 points, 103 shots on net, 42 hits, 39 blocked shots and 39 PIM over 68 appearances. Glass has just two games left to push for the first 20-goal campaign of his career.

  • Devils' Jack Hughes: Scores, assists Saturday

Hughes recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings.

Hughes has found the back of the net in back-to-back games, and even though the Devils are out of playoff contention, the star playmaker remains a valuable fantasy asset across all formats due to his heavy involvement in New Jersey's offensive scheme. Hughes is ending the season on a strong note with five multi-point performances over his last eight contests, tallying 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) and a plus-6 rating over that stretch.

  • Devils' Jesper Bratt: Three points in win

Bratt recorded two goals on three shots and added an assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings.

Bratt snapped a four-game scoreless drought with a two-goal performance here, and even though the Devils are out of playoff contention, the winger remains a productive player. The consistency Bratt delivers year-to-year makes him a valuable fantasy asset across all formats. With this three-point performance, Bratt reached the 70-point mark for a fifth straight regular season.

  • Devils' Jake Allen: Earns win vs. Detroit

Allen stopped 25 of 28 shots in Saturday's win over the Red Wings.

Allen earned the win here, but he continues to be an underwhelming fantasy performer, as this was his third straight game with a save percentage below the .900 mark. Allen will work as the Devils' No. 1 goaltender after Jacob Markstrom (undisclosed) was shut down for the final three games of the regular season. However, Nico Daws has been announced as the starter for Sunday's game against Ottawa, lining up Allen to start in the regular-season finale against the Bruins on Tuesday.

  • Devils' Dawson Mercer: Scores vs. Detroit

Mercer scored an empty-net goal and took three shots on goal in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Red Wings.

Mercer found the back of the net late in the game when the Red Wings were pushing forward to find a late equalizer. The 24-year-old center hasn't been very consistent despite skating on the first line, but he's ending the regular season on a strong note with four goals over his last six games.

  • Devils' Jake Allen: Slated to face Detroit

Allen is expected to start on the road against Detroit on Saturday, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.

Allen will attempt to bounce back after allowing four goals on 29 shots in a 5-2 loss to Pittsburgh on Thursday. He's 16-17-2 with a 2.74 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 36 outings with New Jersey this season. Detroit ranks 20th in goals per game with 2.94 this season.
