Kaiser was loaned to AHL Rockford on Monday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Kaiser has seven assists, 18 shots on goal, 46 blocked shots and 22 hits in 32 NHL appearances this season. His demotion could bode well for the availability of Connor Murphy (groin) ahead of Wednesday's matchup against St. Louis.
Kaiser notched an assist, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Sharks.
This was Kaiser's first point in three games since he rejoined the NHL roster. The 21-year-old defenseman has five helpers, 12 shots on net, 20 hits, 34 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 26 appearances this season. He's still learning on the job, but in a bottom-four role, Kaiser has little fantasy appeal.

This was the first point of the young season for Kaiser, who the Blackhawks took with the third round (81st overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 21-year-old defender has three shots on goal, 12 blocked shots and six hits through eight games this campaign. Kaiser won't have much in the way of fantasy appeal until his offensive numbers improve, but it appears as though more patience will be required from managers for that facet of his game.
