Sabres' Lukas Rousek: Re-signs Tuesday
Rousek signed a two-year contract with the Sabres on Tuesday, per CapFriendly.
The first year of the deal is two-way, while the second year is one-way. Rousek took a step forward with 56 points in 70 regular-season games and another 12 points in 14 playoff outings for AHL Rochester last year, and he added two points in two contests with the Sabres. Rousek tied the game 1-1 with his first career goal, grabbing a rebound off the boards and putting it in the back of the net. The 23-year-old rookie would add a second point with an assist on Riley Stillman's third-period goal. It was quite a debut for Rousek, a sixth-round pick in 2019.
