Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Strikes late in win
Roslovic scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 7-3 win over Utah.
Roslovic had the final goal of the game with 1:26 left in the third period. The 28-year-old forward has just three points over 18 games since the start of January, a performance that has earned him a spot firmly in the bottom six. For the season, he's at 19 goals, nine helpers, 100 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 55 outings. The break for the 4 Nations Face-Off should give Roslovic a chance to rest and reset. He's likely to finish with the second 20-goal season of his career, and he could also get to the 40-point mark for the third time in four years.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Supplies helper in return
Roslovic notched an assist in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Roslovic showed his versatility, slotting in as the listed first-line center due to the absence of Sebastian Aho (illness). Roslovic held his own in the role, winning 11 of 17 faceoffs, and he set up Mikko Rantanen's first goal as a Hurricane. For the season, Roslovic has been something of a utility player, moving around the lineup as necessary. He's at 18 goals, 27 points, 96 shots on net and a minus-4 rating through 51 appearances, so he may carry some value in deeper fantasy formats that focus on offense.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Ready to return
Roslovic (illness) is good to play Thursday versus Chicago, per Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News.
Roslovic has 18 goals and 26 points in 50 appearances in 2024-25. He'll draw back into the lineup after missing Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Rangers. The timing of his return is vital because Carolina is set to dress just 17 skaters -- 11 forwards and six defensemen -- because Sebastian Aho (illness) and Taylor Hall (illness) are both unavailable. Under those circumstances, Roslovic might log significant minutes, especially because he's projected to play alongside Mikko Rantanen and Jackson Blake.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Not available Tuesday
Roslovic (illness) won't play Tuesday versus the Rangers, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.
Roslovic was considered a game-time decision after missing Monday's practice. He hasn't made enough progress in getting healthy to suit up, so expect the Hurricanes to dress Riley Stillman as a seventh defenseman to cover Roslovic's absence. His next chance to play is Thursday versus the Blackhawks.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Game-time call in New York
Roslovic (illness) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's road matchup against the Rangers, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.
Roslovic has yet to miss a game this season, but his status for Tuesday's game is in question after he missed Monday's practice due to an illness. If the right-shot forward is unable to suit up against the Rangers, Riley Stillman will draw into the lineup. In that scenario, the Hurricanes would be rolling with 11 forwards and seven blueliners.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Misses practice Monday
Roslovic was unavailable at practice Monday due to an illness, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.
Roslovic scored a goal in Saturday's matchup with the Islanders, a tally that ended his 12-game point drought. The 27-year-old winger has gone on runs this year, so his goal Saturday could be an indication that he is about to heat up. If Roslovic can't play against the Rangers on Tuesday, the club will likely need to call up a forward from the minors or deploy seven defensemen.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Ends slump Saturday
Roslovic scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Roslovic ended December on a five-game point streak, but this tally was his first point over 13 outings in January. That slump has cost Roslovic a top-six spot for now, and it'll be tougher for him to see top-line minutes after the Hurricanes traded for Mikko Rantanen and Taylor Hall on Friday. Roslovic has had some flashes of quality with 18 goals, eight assists, 96 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 50 appearances this season, but he was last in ice time (8:12) among Carolina skaters in Saturday's game.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Point streak at five games
Roslovic scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Roslovic has four goals and three assists during his five-game point streak. The winger has bounced around the lineup at times, but he's done well when he gets to play alongside Sebastian Aho on the top line. Roslovic is on his way to a career year -- he already has 17 goals to go with eight assists, 75 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 37 contests. Just two of his points have come on the power play, so a little more production in that area could help him find another level as well.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Three points in victory
Roslovic netted two goals and added a helper and a plus-3 rating in 15:26 of ice time in Saturday's 5-2 win over New Jersey.
All three of Roslovic's points came at even strength in the final frame. The right-shot forward is riding a four-game point streak consisting of three goals and three helpers, and he's gotten on the scoresheet in five of his past six contests. Roslovic is now leading Carolina with 16 goals, and he's up to 24 points through 36 appearances.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Hands out helper
Roslovic notched an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Devils.
Roslovic was back on the top line at even strength Friday for the third straight game. He's earned a goal, two assists and seven shots on net in that span. It's a spot that has served Roslovic well when he's had the chance to play higher in the lineup. The 27-year-old winger is up to 14 goals, seven helpers, 71 shots on net and a minus-3 rating through 35 contests. He's still a little goal-heavy this season, but Roslovic makes for a strong streaming option at a minimum when he's sharing ice time with Sebastian Aho.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Scores game-winning goal
Roslovic scored the game-winning goal while adding four hits in 12:16 of ice time during Sunday's 3-1 win over the Rangers.
Roslovic has cooled off since a hot start to the season that saw him rack up nine goals and 10 points over the first 12 games, as he's now logged just two goals and two assists over eight appearances in December. However, the 27-year-old recorded his second game-winning goal of the season Sunday and has now gotten on the scoresheet twice in his last three games. Roslovic had a fourth-line role in recent appearances, but it was encouraging to see him reclaim a spot on the top line against the Rangers. Although Roslovic's production has become more inconsistent as the season has progressed, he continues to see regular time on the power play and his fantasy upside would grow if he can stay on the top line.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Deals helper Tuesday
Roslovic logged an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.
Roslovic was in a top-line role for much of November, but he has since moved to the fourth line. His 10:18 of ice time Tuesday was a season low, which is not a good sign for his production in the short term. The 27-year-old has been impressive so far with 13 goals, four assists, 60 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 28 appearances, putting him over halfway to exceeding the 31 points he earned across 59 games between the Blue Jackets and the Rangers in 2023-24.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Lights lamp Thursday
Roslovic scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Roslovic stretched the Hurricanes' lead to 3-1 in the second period. The 27-year-old forward scored in three straight games from Nov. 20-23, but he was limited to two helpers over the five contests following that heater. The winger is up to 13 tallies, three helpers, 58 shots on net and a minus-2 rating through 26 appearances. He likely can't sustain a 22.4 shooting percentage, though he should at least be able to maintain middle-six minutes if he loses his top-line spot at some point.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Goals in three straight games
Roslovic scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Roslovic extended his goal streak to three games with a tally against one of his former teams, which tied the game at 1-1. The 27-year-old winger has been streaky on offense this season and hasn't done much playmaking, racking up 12 goals and one assist through 20 contests. He's added 52 shots on net and a plus-6 rating, and he'll carry some fantasy value as long as he plays on the top line.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Nets 11th goal of season
Roslovic scored a goal in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Devils.
Roslovic has struggled with consistency on a game-to-game basis. Even though he's up to 11 goals on the season, he's also failed to find the scoresheet in 10 of his 19 contests. Roslovic has scored in back-to-back games four times this season already, and he'll aim to extend that streak to a season-high three games when the Hurricanes take on the Blue Jackets on Saturday.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Tacks on insurance goal
Roslovic scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.
Roslovic had nine goals through the first 12 contests of the season, but his offense turned cold during a five-game slump. He snapped that drought with a third-period tally Wednesday. The 27-year-old winger is still seeing top-line minutes at even strength, though he was limited to 12:33 of ice time against the Flyers. He's now at 10 goals, one assist, 46 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 18 appearances this season.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Another two-goal night
Roslovic scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Penguins.
It's the second time in the last four games that Roslovic has tickled twine twice. The 27-year-old has an incredible nine goals in 12 contests to begin the season, but Thursday's helper was his first of the season. Roslovic's 27.3 percent shooting screams regression, as does the fact that all nine tallies have come at even strength, but it's hard to ignore his current heater -- he has six points during that four-game stretch.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Tallies in Tuesday's win
Roslovic scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Flyers.
Roslovic continues to put together a strong Cy Young candidacy, racking up seven goals and no assists through 11 contests this season. Four of those goals have come over the last four games. The 27-year-old winger has added 30 shots on net and a plus-3 rating. He's playing on the Hurricanes' top line and it seems to be a combination head coach Rod Brind'Amour likes, so Roslovic has some fantasy appeal for his production in goals and shots as long as he remains in that role.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Lights lamp twice in rout
Roslovic scored two goals on a team-high six shots on net in Thursday's 8-2 win over the Bruins.
The 27-year-old has looked the part of a sniper in the early going for Carolina. Roslovic has never scored more than 22 goals in a season and managed only nine over 59 regular-season contests in 2023-24 split between the Blue Jackets and Rangers, but through the first nine games of the current campaign he's already found the back of the net six times. Those are his only points though, and his 25.0 percent shooting could begin to regress at any time, making him a risky fantasy option despite his recent success.

Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Continues to produce Monday
Roslovic scored a goal and fired three shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canucks.
Roslovic has looked more active following a slow start to the season, during which he attempted just two shots in the first two games. He's now recorded multiple shots in five of his last six outings and has found the back of the net four times in that stretch. Fantasy managers would love to see more production in other categories, however, as Roslovic hasn't been of much help to fantasy managers beyond his recent surge in goals. That said, his role as a top-six forward and power-play specialist should give him plenty of chances to produce offensively.
