Carrier recorded two helpers in Vegas' 7-2 victory over Florida in Game 2 on Monday. Carrier primarily serves on Vegas' fourth line, so it wasn't surprising when he recorded just a goal and an assist in his first 12 playoff outings this year. However, he's heated up recently, providing a goal and four points over his last three contests. Carrier's second assist Monday came during a Vegas power play, making that his first point with the man advantage in the 2023 postseason.... See More ... See Less

Golden Knights' William Carrier: Helps Vegas take Game 6
Carrier supplied a goal and an assist in Vegas' 6-0 victory over Dallas in Game 6 on Monday. Carrier found the back of the net early in the first period, and Vegas kept piling on from there. This was a rare showing from the 28-year-old, who has just two goals and four points in 13 playoff outings this year. His low offensive output isn't surprising though, given that Carrier serves primarily in a fourth-line role. Instead, he's more noteworthy for his physical contributions and has been credited with 39 hits in the postseason.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Nets goal in win
Carrier tallied a goal and added three hits in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Stars in Game 3. Carrier's marker at 7:10 of the first period chased Stars goalie Jake Oettinger from the contest. Through 10 playoff appearances, Carrier has two points, 32 hits, 16 PIM and nine shots on net. He's played in a fourth-line role since returning from a lower-body injury during the first round.... Golden Knights' William Carrier: Collects helper
Carrier logged an assist, four hits and two PIM in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Oilers in Game 4. Carrier earned his first point in five playoff contests when he set up a Nicolas Roy tally in the third period. Since returning to lineup April 27 in Game 5 against the Jets, Carrier has posted 21 hits, three blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-1 rating. The 28-year-old winger is unlikely to see more than fourth-line minutes during the playoffs, so his chances to produce offense will remain limited.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Will return Thursday
Carrier (lower body) is good to play in Game 5 against Winnipeg on Thursday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Carrier was last in the lineup March 3 because of the injury. He had 16 goals and 25 points in 56 regular-season outings. With Carrier available, Phil Kessel is expected to be a healthy scratch.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Game-time decision Thursday
Coach Bruce Cassidy said Carrier (lower body) would be a game-time decision Thursday. Carrier last played March 3, when he was hurt versus the Devils. Carrier missed the last 24 games, but he was in a regular jersey at practice Thursday. Carrier ended the season with 16 goals and 25 points in 56 games.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Skates in regular jersey
Carrier (lower body) is skating in a regular jersey during Wednesday's practice, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Carrier hasn't played since suffering a lower-body injury March 3 versus New Jersey, but it appears he may finally be approaching a return. The 28-year-old winger picked up 16 goals and 25 points through 56 games during the regular season. Another update on his status should surface if and when he's cleared to play.... See More ... Golden Knights' William Carrier: Not with Vegas in Winnipeg
Carrier (lower body) didn't make the trip with the Golden Knights to Winnipeg ahead of Games 3 and 4, Shawn Roarke of NHL.com reports. Carrier, who last played March 3 versus New Jersey, hasn't been ruled out for a return at some point in Vegas' first-round series. He compiled 25 points and 133 hits in 56 appearances during the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Won't play in Game 2
Carrier (lower body) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's Game 2 versus the Jets, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Carrier has been skating on his own recently, but he's not yet ready to rejoin the lineup. It's unclear if he'll travel to Winnipeg for Games 3 and 4.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Still unavailable
Carrier (lower body) isn't ready to join the team yet despite doing some skating on his own, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Sun reports. Coach Bruce Cassidy said Sunday that Carrier could be an option at some point down the road in Vegas' first-round series against Winnipeg. The 28-year-old forward missed the final 20 games of the regular season and will sit out Tuesday's Game 1 against the Jets.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Out indefinitely
Carrier is out indefinitely after suffering a lower-body injury Friday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Sun reports. Carrier was injured late in the first period versus the Devils and did not return. He's having a career year offensively with 16 goals and nine assists. Carrier also has 133 hits in 56 games this season. Look for Paul Cotter to take his place in the lineup.... See More ... Golden Knights' William Carrier: Sustains lower-body injury
Carrier (lower body) didn't finish Friday's game versus the Devils, Owen Krepps of Vegas Hockey Now reports. Carrier was hurt late in the first period and didn't return. He had one hit in 5:08 of ice time before the injury. It's unclear if he'll be ready to play Sunday versus the Canadiens -- if not, look for Paul Cotter to take Carrier's place on the third line.... Golden Knights' William Carrier: Dishes assist in win
Carrier notched an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes. Carrier's offense has slowed down a bit lately -- this was his second point over his last six games. He set up the first of Jack Eichel's two tallies in the contest. Carrier is up to the 25-point mark for the first time in his seven-year career, and he's added 118 shots on net, 132 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-15 rating through 55 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Nets goal vs. Flames
Carrier found the back of the net in a 4-3 overtime win over Calgary on Thursday. Carrier's marker came at 12:35 of the third period to tie the game at 3-3. It was his 16th goal and 24th point in 52 games in 2022-23. Carrier missed five straight contests from Jan. 16-24 because of an upper-body injury, but since returning, the 28-year-old has contributed five goals and eight points over nine outings.... Golden Knights' William Carrier: Scores game-winning goal
Carrier scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Sharks. Carrier tallied with less than 18 seconds left in the third period, and his goal stood as the game-winner. The 28-year-old has been exceptionally clutch this season -- seven of his 15 tallies have secured wins for Vegas. The winger has added eight helpers, 107 shots on net, 120 hits and a plus-13 rating through 49 appearances. With four goals and three helpers in his last six outings, he's worth a look in deeper fantasy formats, though this hot stretch probably won't last for the rest of the season.... See More ... Golden Knights' William Carrier: Picks up two points in big win
Carrier scored a goal on seven shots, added an assist, went plus-2 and logged two hits in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Ducks. Carrier and the third line played a key role in the Golden Knights' five-goal third period. The 28-year-old winger has three goals and three helpers over his last five games. He's up to a career-high 22 points (14 goals, eight assists), 104 shots on net, 118 hits and a plus-13 rating through 48 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Earns two points Tuesday
Carrier scored a goal on three shots, added an assist, went plus-4 and logged two PIM in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Predators. Carrier scored the go-ahead goal on a breakaway and also set up Phil Kessel's first-period tally. With three goals and three assists over his last five outings, Carrier has worked well with Kessel and Chandler Stephenson on the third line recently. Carrier's 20 points in 46 contests matches his career-best total from 63 games last season. The 28-year-old has added 116 hits, 96 shots on net, 20 PIM and a plus-11 rating in 2022-23.... Golden Knights' William Carrier: Finds twine in overtime loss
Carrier scored a goal on four shots, logged three hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Islanders. Carrier tallied at 16:08 of the second period, and that was all the Golden Knights could muster despite putting 45 shots on target versus Semyon Varlamov. Carrier has two goals and two assists over his last four outings, with a five-game absence in the middle of that due to an upper-body injury. He's up to 12 tallies, 18 points, 93 shots on net, 116 hits and a plus-7 rating through 45 outings this season while playing in a bottom-six role.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Garners helper in return
Carrier notched an assist and four hits in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers. Carrier missed five games with an upper-body injury. He logged 12:23 of ice time in his return, and he was the one to set up Phil Kessel for the Golden Knights' lone goal at 4:57 of the second period. With four points in six outings in January, Carrier's done alright when he's in the lineup, but his bottom-six role doesn't offer much confidence that he can keep generating offense. He's at 11 goals, six helpers, 89 shots on net, 113 hits and a plus-6 rating through 44 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Golden Knights' William Carrier: Returning to action
Carrier (upper body) will be activated off injured reserve and return to the lineup Friday against the Rangers, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Carrier will presumably return to a bottom-six role versus New York after missing five games with an upper-body issue. The 28-year-old bruiser has picked up 11 goals, 16 points and 109 hits through 43 contests this season.... See More ... See Less
