Predators' Filip Forsberg: Increases record-setting goal total
Forsberg scored a goal during Monday's 4-2 loss to Pittsburgh.
The tally brings Forsberg to 48 goals, extending his single-season goal record for the franchise. He ends the season with 94 points in 82 contests. He's been impressive in the weeks leading up to the postseason with 19 goals and 14 assists over 21 contests since the start of March.

Predators' Filip Forsberg: Hat trick leads to franchise record
Forsberg earned his 10th career NHL hat trick in Friday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks. Two of the goals took place on the power play, and he set a franchise record for most goals in a season with 46.
Forsberg's been a force to be reckoned with ever since the Predators made him a full-time player at the top level in 2014-15. However, a huge volume of shots from Forsberg is the key catalyst behind his success this campaign. The Swede has pelted goaltenders with 338 shots, which has him ranked fifth in the NHL in that key offensive metric. Forsberg also has 10 game-winning goals and 12 goals on the power play. Predators' Filip Forsberg: Distributes two helpers
Forsberg recorded two assists -- including one on the power-play -- in Sunday's 3-2 shootout win over the Devils.
Forsberg contributed two apples on the only markers scored during regulation to help his team head to the extra frame and eventually win in the shootout. It was his second multi-point game in the past three games and his 28th multi-point game of the season. Forsberg has career highs in both goals and points this season, and he bumped the latter total up to 89 with Sunday's pair.

Forsberg scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged three hits and went minus-4 in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Coyotes.
Both of his points came on the power play. Forsberg has eight goals and eight assists during his eight-game point streak, which has featured multi-point efforts in five of his last six outings. The winger's contributions Thursday were too late to make much of a difference in the high-scoring loss. His March surge puts him one point and one goal shy of matching the career-high production he had in 2021-22.
