Dennis (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against Chicago, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Buccaneers' SirVocea Dennis: Hopeful for Week 1
Head coach Todd Bowles noted Sunday that he is "hopeful" that Dennis (undisclosed) will be available for the Bucs' season opener against the Vikings on Sept. 10, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Dennis missed all practices last week after sitting out of the Bucs' 13-6 win over the Jets on Aug. 19. Buccaneers' SirVocea Dennis: Added by Bucs
The Buccaneers selected Dennis in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 153rd overall. Dennis had a productive career at Pitt, piling up 36 tackles for loss and 15 sacks in his final three seasons. Even with that work on the defensive side of the ball, he also played a regular role on special teams.
