    The Panthers placed Larkin (undisclosed) on the practice squad COVID-19 list Thursday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports. Larkin joined the Panthers' practice squad in late October but was one of several players who landed on the COVID-19 list Thursday. It's not yet clear whether he's tested positive for the virus, and a timetable for his return hasn't been revealed.

Larkin, who had a short stint on the Falcons' active roster in 2019, will be making his first official appearance with the Panthers entering Week 6. Expect him to act as defensive-line depth for the time being.

  • Austin Larkin: Signs with Atlanta's practice squad

    Larkin joined the Falcons' practice squad Tuesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The 24-year-old defensive end was brought back in a corresponding move to Anthony Coyle being waived, a month and a half after Larkin himself was waived from the Falcons' practice squad. Larkin has yet to appear in a regular-season game, but for the time being he provides the organization with another developmental piece along the defensive line.
