Da'Mari Scott: Waived by Giants
Scott was waived by the Giants on Friday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
After opting out of the 2020 season, Scott has now been handed a pink slip as the offseason begins. Scott has caught two of his three targets for 22 yards throughout his five contests in 2019, and the Fresno State product will now aim to garner a depth role on another team's receiver corps.

Scott is the second Giant after left tackle Nate Solder to choose not to play amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In two pro campaigns between the Bills and Giants, Scott has totaled three touches for 27 yards from scrimmage in eight contests, getting most of his work on special teams.

Giants' Da'Mari Scott: Catches second pass
Scott had one carry for five yards, caught his lone target for 11 yards, totaled 59 yards on two kick returns and gained six yards on two punt returns during Sunday's 41-35 overtime win over the Redskins.
Scott played 12 offensive snaps Sunday and was fairly involved during his time on the field. The 24-year-old has carved out a decent role as a return man and depth wideout since being promoted from the Giants' practice squad in late November.

Well, that didn't take long. Just three days after joining the Bills' practice squad, Scott will move up to the 53-man roster thanks in part to the release of veteran wide receivers Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes. The Bills clearly want to give their young corps of pass catchers an extended opportunity given their dismal record this season, but it's unlikely Scott will immediately jump to the top of a depth chart full of inexperienced options.

Despite spending a fair amount of time on the Browns' 53-man roster this season, Scott didn't make a significant statistical contribution with the club before being cut over the weekend. He's now found a new home and will provide the Bills with some added depth at receiver after the team parted ways with veterans Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes on Tuesday.

Scott was waived by Cleveland on Saturday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Scott was waived in order to make room for offensive guard Kyle Kalis. The Browns needed depth on the offensive line with Austin Corbett (foot) unable to play and J.C. Tretter (ankle) listed as questionable. If Scott clears waivers, he could find his way back to Cleveland, but his NFL debut still seems a ways off.

Scott has yet to make his NFL debut. The Fresno State product was listed as questionable for the Browns' Week 10 matchup against the Falcons but was ultimately ruled out. Now that Scott has had the bye week to recover and his name doesn't appear on the team's injury report, it appears that Scott is healthy and ready to play.
