    Crosby (knee) said, "I'm feeling better than I ever have," Monday, after he spent much of 2023 fighting through a knee injury that required draining multiple times a week, Nick Shook of NFL.com reports. Crosby set career highs in combined tackles (90) and sacks (14.5) last season despite spending much of the campaign hampered by a bursa joint issue. The 26-year-old underwent a procedure to correct it in January after the season ended and began rehabbing it soon after, which went "incredible," according to Crosby.

  • Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Undergoes knee procedure

    Crosby underwent a "small cleanup" procedure on his knee Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Crosby was dealing a knee injury for almost the entire 2023 campaign and he required a minor surgery on his bursa joint. In spite of being less than fully healthy, Crosby appeared in all 17 of the Raiders' games and logged a career-high 14.5 sacks to go with 90 tackles and two forced fumbles.

    Crosby has signed a four-year extension with the Raiders, ESPN's Paul Gutierrez reports. Per the report, the ascending edge rusher's new deal is for $98.98 million, with $95 million in new money and $53 million guaranteed. The 2019 fourth-rounder is coming off a 2021 season in which he notched 56 tackles and eight sacks in 17 games, an effort that landed the 24-year-old Crosby in the Pro Bowl.
