Vincent Taylor: Lands with Falcons
Taylor (Achilles) is expected to sign with the Falcons on Saturday, Jordan Schultz of ESPN reports. Taylor was limited to only one game in 2021 due to an Achilles injury. Texans' Vincent Taylor: Slated to miss extended time
Taylor (ankle) will undergo surgery that could keep him sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports. Per the report, Taylor will be placed on injured reserve after he was carted off the field in Sunday's season opener against the Jaguars. While the 27-year-old will miss a significant portion of the year, it doesn't appear as though he's dealing with a season-ending injury. DeMarcus Walker could step into a starting role while Taylor is sidelined.... See More ... See Less -

Texans' Vincent Taylor: Carted off Sunday
Taylor (undisclosed) was carted off the field Sunday against the Jaguars, according to John McClain of The Houston Chronicle. Taylor was carted off the field in the second half of what was a commanding win for Houston against Jacksonville, but no further details have been given regarding his potential diagnosis. Browns' Vincent Taylor: Scooped off waivers
The Browns claimed Taylor off waivers from the Bills on Sunday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Taylor has logged 24 NFL games since entering the league in 2017, recording 51 tackles, two sacks and two pass breakups. While Larry Ogunjobi and Sheldon Richardson are expected to handle the bulk of the work at defensive tackle, Taylor will battle with Jordan Elliott for the remaining reps.... See More ... See Less -
Bills' Vincent Taylor: Gets promoted
Taylor was promoted to the active roster Saturday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. Dolphins' Vincent Taylor: Turning heads at camp
Taylor has emerged as a standout among the defensive front through the early portion of training camp, Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald reports. Jackson, coming off a gruesome knee injury that landed him on injured reserve at the end of last season, appears to be back in full force. Entering his second season, Jackson is not a lock to make the final roster, but a strong camp has certainly helped his case moving forward.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Vincent Taylor: Headed to Miami
The Dolphins selected Taylor in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 194th overall. Taylor (6-foot-3, 304 pounds) looks like a very nice pick for Miami here. He totaled 21.5 tackles for loss over the last two years at Oklahoma State, and at the Combine he showed encouraging athletic metrics -- his 5.07-second 40, 108-inch broad jump, and 7.58-second three-cone drill were all good for his size.... Tori McElhaney@tori_mcelhaney31M agoFalcons can't convert on third-and-19 right before midfield. Punting back to the Jags. Really needed some type of points on that drive as the third quarter is almost to its end and the Jags still lead 17-7.
