The Lakers signed Doumbouya to a two-way contract Tuesday, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Doumbouya had a tough offseason, as he was traded twice and then waived by the Rockets. However, things are looking up for the 20-year-old now, as he has found a new home in Los Angeles and will get to learn from the likes of LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. With the Lakers being a title contender, Doumbouya likely won't see much time at the NBA level and will have to earn his way back to NBA action through consistent play in the G League.
