  I'm sitting at my desk laughing at an e-mail I got from a gambling service that gives Keith Hernandez 100 to 1 odds to become the next Mets manager. There are at least six or seven zeroes missing in those odds.

  The 3 Mets coaches with expiring contracts are third base coach Joey Cora, first base coach Wayne Kirby and analytics/assistant major league coach Danny Barnes. The others are signed, but David Stearns indicated decisions on the staff will come with input from the new manager.
