The Week 7 slate did not feature any top 25 teams going head to head, but as we already saw Friday night, that does not mean upsets should not be expected. In fact, those upsets continued into Saturday with four Associated Press top-10 teams losing. On Saturday alone, No. 5 Washington lost inexplicably on the road to Arizona State while No. 10 Auburn blew a 20-point road lead and fell by four points to a suddenly surging LSU. Meanwhile, Oklahoma and Miami had to stave off upsets from unranked opponents. We here at CBS Sports have all the coverage from every big game throughout the day.

Washington falters at Arizona State with kicking game headaches

What would Week 7 be without some crazy #Pac12AfterDark action to finish off the week of upsets? Washington's 13-7 loss on the road at Arizona State was stunning in that the Sun Devils, which had one of the worst defenses in college football entering the weekend, limited the Huskies to one touchdown and 230 yards of offense. It didn't help that Washington had terrible kicking game struggles. Van Soderberg missed both of his field goal attempts from 27 and 21 yards, respectively.

San Diego State's New Year's Six bowl chances take a hit

In a weekend of upsets, the one that actually carried the most impact might have been No. 19 San Diego's State 31-14 loss to Boise State. Why? Barring several losses to other top Group of Five teams, it likely knocks the Aztecs out of the New Year's Six bowl picture because going undefeated in the regular season is a huge boost for Group of Five teams to land a major bowl appearance. It was clear the Aztecs were in trouble when the Broncos got two first-quarter non-offensive touchdown. For a team that favors the run, it's difficult for San Diego State to play from behind.

Ohio State cruises past Nebraska

If you want to talk about two programs going in different directions, look no further than Ohio State's 56-14 win over Nebraska. This game was over by the first quarter; it was 35-0 at halftime and one of the worst home losses for the Cornhuskers in history. (The worst was in 1945 to Minnesota.) Nebraska is likely looking for a new coach at the end of the season, while the Buckeyes, oh so quietly, have rebounded from their early-season loss to Oklahoma. And with 354 passing yards, it appears Ohio State has answered that problem with its offense. With upsets happening around the landscape, don't be surprised to see Ohio State near the top five in Sunday's polls.

Alabama has no problem with Arkansas

Top-ranked Alabama had little issue with Arkansas on Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide rocked the Hogs 41-9 thanks to 129 yards and two scores from running back Damien Harris. His first score came on the first play from scrimmage when he took the ball 75 yards to the house to please the home crowd.

The defense was stout as well, holding the typically-stout Razorbacks rushing attack to 27 yards on 29 carries and brought the heat on backup quarterback Cole Kelley, who was making the start in place of an injured Austin Allen. Alabama (7-0, 4-0 SEC) will host Tennessee next weekend in a battle of two traditional rivals going in opposite directions in the SEC.

Aggies stun the Gators

In what is considered a mild upset by Las Vegas, Texas A&M entered The Swamp and kicked its way to a win over the alligator-clad Florida Gators. The Aggies managed just 263 yards, but quarterback Kellen Mond led them on three fourth-quarter drives that resulted in field goals -- the final one coming with just 58 seconds remaining in the game -- to bring Texas A&M to 5-2 (3-1 SEC) and the brink of bowl eligibility. Mond completed just eight of his 24 passes, star receiver Christian Kirk had a surprising case of the drops, and the Aggies' offense seemed stuck in first gear for the majority of the game. It's Texas A&M's first win in the state of Florida since 1944 (over Miami). Here's Mond's lone touchdown run, which tied the game at 10.

That was enough, though, to get past the Gators' defense -- which wore down toward the end of the game. With the loss, Florida drops to 3-3 (3-2 SEC), marking its worst start since 1986.

No. 4 Georgia pulls away

Three top 10 teams have already gone down in Week 7, and another got more of a test than many envisioned -- at least, early. Fourth-ranked Georgia -- a four-touchdown favorite over Missouri -- was locked in a shootout with a 1-4 Missouri team that lit up the Bulldogs through the air. Quarterback Drew Lock tossed three touchdowns in the first half, Emanuel Hall had 126 yards and two of the scores and the Tigers hung with the Bulldogs for 30 minutes.

But Georgia pulled away with 20 second-half points to cruise to a 53-28 win. True freshman quarterback Jake Fromm threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns against the porous Tiger defense, the Bulldogs rushed for 370 total yards, and eight different Bulldogs caught passes for the SEC East front-runners.

Oklahoma squeezes past Texas in a tight one

The last three Texas-Oklahoma games have been decided by a touchdown or less. This one was no different. Time ran out on the Longhorns as the Sooners came away with a 29-24 win. Quarterback Baker Mayfield connected with tight end Mark Andrews on a busted coverage for the go-ahead touchdown with just under seven minutes left to go in the game. Once again, Mayfield and the Sooners avoid losing back-to-back regular season games, something the program hasn't done since 1999. Oklahoma remains in the thick of the Big 12 title race while Texas, a much-improved team, continues to grow under first-year coach Tom Herman and freshman quarterback Sam Ehlinger

TCU wins the longest game of the day

It took a couple of lightning delays, including a multi-hour one before the start of the game, but TCU moved to 6-0 with a 20-point win over Kansas State on the road. The game was delayed again in the second half, and by the time the clock hit all zeroes, it had been about seven hours from the scheduled noon ET kickoff.

Michigan's needs overtime to get past Indiana

The Wolverines were in for a tricky road game against Indiana, and the Wolverines needed overtime to win 27-20. Once again, the passing game was ineffective with John O'Korn throwing for just 58 yards on 2.9 yards per attempt. The Wolverines also gave up 10 points in the final 3:27 of regulation. It's a survive and advance game for the Maize and Blue, while Indiana just can't seem to get those big victories.

Louisville falls in a stunning upset against Boston College

It can be hard to know when and where upsets will occur. Such is the case for Louisville and Boston College. The Cardinals lost in stunning fashion on a last-second field goal by Boston College, 45-42. This marks the first time the Eagles have scored at least 40 points in an ACC game since 2009. Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson still put up huge numbers (512 total yards and five touchdowns) and tied the game up at 42. But BC's final drive ended with the game-winner. The Eagles have been a feisty group lately, but now the results finally went their way.

Army went peak Army in win over Eastern Michigan

The Black Knights topped EMU 28-27 victory without completing a pass. Yep, Army went 0-for-5 on pass attempts. That is signature Army #NeverPass.

Florida State survives, advances over Duke

It wasn't easy, but little has been for the Seminoles this season. Florida State knocked down a Hail Mary attempt to win 17-10 over Duke on the road. Freshman running back Cam Akers scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 42-yard run with 8:23 left in the game. The combination of Akers and Patrick was a great one-two punch that accounted for nearly all of FSU's 228 yards on the ground. FSU moves to 2-3 and improves to 18-0 all-time vs. the Blue Devils.

Tennessee's kicker fired up, but it's not enough to lift the Vols

Can your kicker be the emotional leader of your team? I don't know, but Tennessee's Brent Cimaglia was fired up against South Carolina. He drilled a 29-yard field goal to give the Vols an early 3-0 lead and did not take kindly to the contact that followed. Unfortunately for Tennessee, that fire and passion did not match the game's results. South Carolina won 15-9 and Tennessee has gone 10 straight quarters without a touchdown. Is this the end for coach Butch Jones? It's hard to see him surviving much more of this.
