Letang picked up a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
The veteran blueliner opened the scoring early in the first period, as his point shot was deflected home by Columbus defenseman Andrew Peeke. Letang has had a tough season both on and off the ice, and his 41 points (12 goals, 29 helpers) through 64 games is his worst total since 2016-17, when he suited up for only 41 contests.
Letang scored a goal and an assist on five shots, fueling the Penguins to a 4-1 win over the Wild on Thursday.
Letang opened the scoring Thursday, beating Marc-Andre Fleury with a sharp-angle shot. The Canadian defenceman would also add an assist on Rickard Rakell's power-play goal. This snaps a three-game point drought for Letang and gives him his first points in the month of April. On the season, Letang has 11 goals and 38 points in 61 games.
Letang tallied a goal and two assists in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to Montreal.
Letang set up Evgeni Malkin's power-play goal in the first period before scoring in the second, firing a shot through traffic that found its way to the back of the net. He'd add a third point later in the frame with another power-play helper on Jake Guentzel's tally. Letang continues to offer solid production from the blue line in his age-35 season, with 10 goals and 24 assists through 49 games.

A shot attempt from the Lightning ramped up and hit Letang in the face just a few seconds after he had blocked a shot with his hand. The defenseman was bleeding heavily as he left the ice following the incident in the first period. The Penguins haven't provided an official update on his status, but one should be available before the team's road-trip finale Saturday versus the Panthers.
