Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Ready for Round 2
Robinson (undisclosed) is expected to be available for Game 1 against Washington on Tuesday, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Robinson returned to Monday's practice after sitting out sessions on Friday and Saturday. He contributed one assist, 12 shots on goal and 22 hits in five games during Carolina's first-round series versus New Jersey. Robinson will probably be on the fourth line in Tuesday's matchup.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Absent from practice
Robinson missed practice Friday with an undisclosed injury, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Robinson has recorded just one point over his last 12 outings, so his potential absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy players. The 29-year-old winger has dished out plenty of hits over that stretch (43), but doesn't offer much value otherwise. If Robinson misses the first game of the second-round series versus the Capitals, Tyson Jost would likely step into a fourth-line role.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Picks up assist in Game 1
Robinson notched an assist, four shots on goal and eight hits in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Devils in Game 1.
Robinson ended the regular season on a seven-game point drought, but it didn't take him long to get on the scoresheet in the playoff opener. He set up a Jalen Chatfield goal at 2:24 of the first period. Robinson was effective in a variety of roles with 14 goals, 32 points, 110 shots on net and 123 hits over 82 regular-season contests. He began the postseason on the fourth line but could move into the middle six if head coach Rod Brind'Amour shuffles his forward trios at at point.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Lights lamp in Friday's loss
Robinson scored a goal in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Red Wings.
Robinson got a touch on a Justin Robidas attempt, giving the former his first goal since March 14 while the latter earned his first NHL point. Robinson is now at 32 points, 102 shots on net, 102 hits and a plus-17 rating over 75 appearances this season. He's earned seven of those points over his last 12 contests while filling a versatile role for the Hurricanes -- he's capable of moving around the lineup to fill gaps as necessary.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Generates helper
Robinson provided an assist in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Islanders.
Robinson set up Mark Jankowski on the opening goal 4:41 into the game. While he's gone seven games without a goal, Robinson has four assists in that span. The 29-year-old has done well to provide some depth scoring from a bottom-six role for much of the campaign. He's produced career highs in games played (73), goals (13), assists (18), points (31) and plus-minus rating (plus-16) while adding 99 shots on net and 100 hits .

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Dishes two assists Saturday
Robinson distributed two assists and added two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-0 win against the Flyers.
Both of Robinson's helpers were on goals scored by linemate Mark Jankowski. The 29-year-old Robinson is up to 16 assists, 29 points and 91 shots on goal in 67 games this season. With his performance Saturday, Robinson has established a new career high in points to beat his previous personal best of 27 from 2021-22. He has four points in his last three games and has helped bolster Carolina's fourth line to be a strong offensive unit during the team's seven-game winning streak. Robinson currently has a bit of value in deeper leagues due to his momentum heading into the fantasy playoffs.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Tallies empty-netter
Robinson scored an empty-net goal and tallied three shots on net in Friday's 4-2 victory against the Red Wings.
Robinson buried his empty-netter with just over a minute left in the third period. The 29-year-old winger has 13 goals, 27 points, 89 shots on net and 96 hits in 66 games this season. Friday's goal marked a new career high for Robinson, passing his previous best of 12 across 72 regular-season appearances in 2022-23. After failing to hit the scoresheet for 10 straight games, Robinson has two points in his last three outings. His value in fantasy is limited, but it is encouraging to see him involved in the offense while Carolina regularly shuffles its lines for the time being.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Snaps drought with helper
Robinson posted an assist and two hits in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Jets.
Robinson ended a 10-game point drought with the helper. He added 13 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-1 rating in that span. Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Buries goal in loss
Robinson scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Kings.
Robinson was on the fourth line Saturday, but he still logged 14:14 of ice time. Line combinations have been in flux for the Hurricanes since the Mikko Rantanen trade, as injuries and illnesses have left various players unavailable for short stints. Robinson has bounced around the lineup himself a fair amount in 2024-25. He's now at 12 goals, 25 points, 71 shots on net, 75 hits and a plus-12 rating over 53 appearances, including five points over his last 12 outings.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Tallies in Thursday's win
Robinson scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 7-4 win over the Blue Jackets.
Robinson ended a six-game goal drought with his tally. He also has two assists over his last three outings, and he's regained a spot on the Hurricanes' second line, though his ice time is prone to fluctuate if head coach Rod Brind'Amour shuffles his forward trios. Robinson is up to 11 goals, 24 points, 63 shots on net, 71 hits and a plus-12 rating over 49 appearances in what's likely to end up being a career year.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Contributes helper Monday
Robinson logged an assist, five shots on goal and three hits in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Robinson hasn't had a great January, earning just two points over 10 outings this month. The 29-year-old has been a surprisingly effective depth scorer at times, occasionally earning himself top-six minutes. He's up to 10 goals, 12 helpers, 60 shots on net, 69 hits and a plus-9 rating over 47 outings, but he probably won't have much fantasy value as long as he remains on the fourth line.

Robinson scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
Robinson had gone four games without a point prior to Thursday. The winger was moderately productive in December with five points over 13 contests. The 29-year-old has bounced around the Hurricanes' lineup, though he's been in a middle-six role in the last couple of games. Robinson has reached the 10-goal mark for the third time in his career, and he's at 21 points, 51 shots on net, 57 hits and a plus-7 rating over 42 appearances this season.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Tallies in Friday's defeat
Robinson scored a goal on two shots and added three hits and a plus-1 rating in 13:04 of ice time Friday in a 4-2 loss to the Devils.
Robinson cleaned up on a rebound in the blue paint to open the scoring Friday. It was the left-shot winger's first goal since Dec. 5, and he's cooled significantly after a strong November and start to December. Still, Robinson is on pace to set new career highs in goals, assists and points in his eighth NHL season. The 29-year-old is at nine markers, 10 helpers and a plus-8 rating through 35 appearances.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Generates helper in victory
Robinson notched an assist in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Islanders.
Robinson snapped a four-game slump with the helper. He was back on the top line at even strength Tuesday, setting up Sebastian Aho for the goal late in the second period. Robinson has moved around the lineup a bit, but he has generally found success when he plays alongside talented linemates. He's at eight goals, 10 helpers, 37 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-7 rating through 31 contests.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Finds twine in win
Robinson scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.
Robinson has scored three times over the last four contests. The 29-year-old winger tied the game at 1-1 in the first period Thursday. For the season, he's up to eight goals, 17 points, 32 shots on net, 34 hits and a plus-8 rating. The Hurricanes seem to have unlocked something in Robinson's game, and while he's averaging just 12:15 of ice time this season, he's on pace to shatter his career high of 27 points from the 2021-22 campaign with the Blue Jackets.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Nets goal vs. Seattle
Robinson scored a goal, took four shots and recorded three hits in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Kraken.
Robinson scored in the first period, but his goal wasn't enough for the Canes to get something out of this matchup in front of their home crowd. Robinson has cracked the scoresheet in three of his last four games, tallying one goal and two assists in that span.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Nets equalizer Friday
Robinson scored a goal in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Panthers.
Robinson tied the game at 3-3 late in the second period, but the Panthers took control in the third. His tally was his first since Nov. 17, though he had two assists in four outings going into Friday's matchup. The 29-year-old has lost his place on the second combination, but a fourth-line spot aligns better with his skill set. Robinson is up to six goals, 15 points, 25 shots on net, 31 hits and a plus-8 rating through 23 appearances. He may generate enough offense to interest fantasy managers in deep formats.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Sends helper in win
Robinson notched an assist in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.
Robinson set up Jesperi Kotkaniemi's game-tying goal in the third period. Both of those forwards were seeing second-line minutes earlier in the month, but they played on the fourth line with Jackson Blake in this contest. Robinson has five points over his last six outings and is up to a total of 14 points, 24 shots on net, 31 hits and a plus-9 rating through 22 appearances. The Hurricanes' offense is flexible and balanced, so Robinson may retain some appeal in deeper fantasy formats, though that could dry up if his reduced ice time (7:43 in Wednesday's game) becomes a trend.

Hurricanes' Eric Robinson: Three points in victory
Robinson generated a goal on his only shot and added two assists Sunday in a 4-1 win over St. Louis.
Robinson scored his fifth goal of the season in the middle frame before registering the primary helper on each of Martin Necas' tallies. Robinson has recorded two multi-point performances over his last four games after having none through the first 13 contests of the campaign. The 29-year-old has fit in well on Carolina's second line alongside Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Necas -- Robinson has logged five goals, seven assists and a plus-11 rating across 17 outings. After banking 10 points over 47 regular-season games split between Buffalo and Columbus in 2023-24, Robinson has already surpassed that number with his new club.
