Fantilli scored a goal on two shots and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Sharks. Fantilli has yet to be kept off the scoresheet in January, racking up four goals and four assists during a seven-game point streak. His tally Thursday opened the scoring at 12:11 of the first period. Fantilli has 11 goals, 23 points, 89 shots on net, 63 hits, 33 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 45 appearances. He's on a similar pace to his rookie year, but he's trending upward while seeing top-line time during Sean Monahan's (wrist) absence.... See More ... See Less

Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Two points in comeback win
Fantilli scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Penguins. With the Blue Jackets in a 3-1 hole midway through the third period, Fantilli sparked a comeback by setting up Dmitri Voronkov for one goal before scoring the tying tally himself with 2:36 remaining in regulation. Fantilli has a modest three-game point streak going, and if the upper-body injury Sean Monahan picked up Tuesday proves to be serious, the third-overall pick in the 2023 Draft could find himself thrust into a top-six role and a prominent spot on the power play.... Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Gets goal in win
Fantilli scored a goal Saturday in a 6-4 win over the Blues. It's his eighth of the season (17 points) in 40 games. Fantilli, who is just 20, isn't wowing with huge offensive numbers, but he's definitely growing his two-way game. He's the Jackets' third-line center and has been playing between James van Riemsdyk and Zach Aston-Reese. Fantilli may not take an offensive jump until his fourth season, and that's OK for the Jackets -- they want his game to be complete. Fantasy managers, especially those in keeper and dynasty formats, will need to weigh how long they can wait on Fantilli's offensive explosion.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Scores in Friday's win
Fantilli scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Friday's 6-2 win over the Bruins. Fantilli's goal was the first of four in the second period as the Blue Jackets took control of the game. The 20-year-old has had a rough December with three points, 26 shots on net, 23 hits and a minus-8 rating over 14 appearances. He remains in a middle-six role and on the second power-play unit, but Fantilli's 15 points over 36 contests won't win over many fantasy managers in redraft formats.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Pots goal in loss
Fantilli scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Lightning. The goal ended his droughts -- he'd gone nine games without scoring and six contests without a point prior to Tuesday. Fantilli had previously gone no more than three games without a point. The 20-year-old has been firmly in the middle six this season, racking up six goals, eight helpers, 63 shots on net, 50 hits and a minus-9 rating over 32 appearances. Fantilli has plenty of long-term promise, but that level of scoring for a center has relatively low fantasy value in redraft formats, though he has the talent to pick up the pace.... See More ... Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Offers helper in loss
Fantilli notched an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers. Fantilli has picked up four points over his last five contests. The 20-year-old forward is seeing top-six minutes as the Blue Jackets' second-line center, and he hasn't often looked out of place this year. He's yet to go more than two consecutive games without a point, racking up five goals, eight helpers, 50 shots on net, 39 hits and a minus-3 rating over 25 appearances. He's on roughly the same scoring pace that saw him rack up 27 points in 49 contests as a rookie in 2023-24.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Snaps 13-game goal drought
Fantilli scored twice Friday in a 5-2 win over the Flames. His first goal ended a 13-game goal drought; it opened the scoring in the first period. His second came on a two-on-one in the third after he came out of the penalty box to join the rush. Fantilli hasn't taken the big offensive step forward that was predicted in the preseason. But that will come. Fantilli's two-way play has improved, and he has turned around an abysmal minus-21 in 49 games from last season to a minus-2 in 22 games this year. His future is bright in keeper and dynasty formats, but temper expectations in redraft leagues. Fantilli is just 20 years old.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Sets up goal in loss
Fantilli had an assist, a blocked shot and four hits in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens. Cole Sillinger's upper-body injury prompted a newly configured second line, which combined to produce Columbus' second tally. Fantilli hit Yegor Chinakhov in stride, leading to Columbus' second goal. Kent Johnson also assisted. It was the third helper in the last six games for the 20-year-old Fantilli, who has gone 13 games without a goal.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Picks up power-play helper
Fantilli notched a power-play assist and two PIM in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Kings. Fantilli has two helpers over his last five contests amid a slowdown in the Blue Jackets' offense -- they've scored nine goals as a team in that span. This assist was the 20-year-old's first power-play point of the campaign. Fantilli is up to seven points, 33 shots on net, 10 hits, 10 blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-2 rating over 13 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Pockets assist Saturday
Fantilli logged an assist and four shots on goal in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Capitals. Fantilli has four points over his last five games as he continues to look solid in a middle-six role. He was back in the power-play mix Saturday since James van Riemsdyk was scratched, though Fantilli's role with the man advantage has been slipping lately. The 20-year-old center is still a decent option for fantasy managers in deep formats. He has six points, 29 shots on net, nine hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 11 contests.... Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Slides helper in overtime loss
Fantilli logged an assist, six shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Predators. Fantilli picked up his first assist of the year on a Kirill Marchenko tally in the second period. The 20-year-old Fantilli hasn't popped offensively yet, earning three points through seven contests. He's added 21 shots on net, eight hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-2 rating while playing on the second line and second power-play unit. Fantasy managers in redraft formats may want to consider other options, but his long-term upside in dynasty leagues remains high.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Scores on birthday
Fantilli scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Avalanche. Fantilli celebrated his 20th birthday with a second-period goal, his first point in two games this season. He's started the season as the Blue Jackets' second-line center, a role that should allow him to build on the 27-point rookie season he produced in 49 games in 2023-24. Fantasy managers in dynasty formats should already have Fantilli, but he could play his way into the redraft picture in 2024-25.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Two helpers in Tuesday's win
Fantilli produced two assists and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-1 preseason win over the Blues. Fantilli set up Yegor Chinakhov's power-play goal in the second period and Mathieu Olivier's empty-netter in the third. With four goals, two helpers and 10 shots on net over four preseason contests, Fantilli has made a great impression. He had 12 goals, 15 assists, 115 shots and 63 hits over 49 regular-season outings before a lacerated calf ended his season early in 2023-24, but the 19-year-old looks poised for a bigger breakout in Year 2.... Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Suiting up for Team Canada
Fantilli (calf) will suit up in Team Canada's pre-tournament opener of the 2024 IIHF World Championship on Sunday. Fantilli missed the final 33 games of the regular season after suffering a lacerated calf on Jan. 28. Now healthy, the 19-year-old center will look to contribute to Team Canada's run in the IIHF World Championship before preparing for the 2024-25 season. Fantilli finished his rookie campaign with 12 goals and 27 points in 49 games.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Might be done for season
Fantilli (laceration) may not be ready to return before the end of the 2023-24 season, according to Craig Merz of NHL.com. Fantilli was initially projected to be out eight weeks because of a calf laceration he sustained against Seattle on Jan. 28, but his recovery has been slower than expected. The 19-year-old rookie has registered 12 goals, 27 points, 115 shots on net and 63 hits in 49 appearances this campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Won't play Tuesday
Fantilli (leg) won't play Tuesday versus the Blues after being cut by a skate blade in Sunday's 4-2 loss to Seattle. Fantiili will be evaluated further after the team returns home from St. Louis. The 19-year-old rookie has compiled 12 goals, 27 points, 115 shots on net and 46 hits over 49 games this season. With Fantilli unavailable, Jack Roslovic could play in Tuesday's contest.... Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Exits Sunday's contest
Fantilli (lower body) will not return to Sunday's game against Seattle. Fantilli appeared to catch a skate against the back of his leg but the exact details of his injury aren't known. The 19-year-old logged 7:30 of ice time before leaving the game. He has 12 goals and 27 points through 49 games. Fantilli's status for Tuesday's game in St. Louis is questionable.... See More ... Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: One of each in win
Fantilli scored an empty-net goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Flames. Fantilli helped put the game away, setting up a Dmitri Voronkov goal in the third period before depositing an empty-netter. After racking up 13 points in 14 outings in December, Fantilli has been limited to four points in nine games in January. He's still seeing top-six usage, and ebbs and flows on offense are to be expected with even the most talented of rookies. The 19-year-old has 27 points, 113 shots on net, 43 hits and a minus-19 rating through 47 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Wraps up big December
Fantilli scored his 11th goal of the season in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sabres. The rookie jumped out of the box after a minor penalty to join Justin Danforth on the rush, and Fantilli powered through an attempted stick check to beat Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen just inside the far post. Fantilli has broken out for seven goals and 13 points through 14 games in December, and while he still isn't seeing time on the Blue Jackets' first power-play unit, the 19-year-old is making an impact at even strength on a line with Johnny Gaudreau.... See More ... See Less -
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Two-point effort in big win
Fantilli scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 9-4 rout of the Sabres. Both points came in the first period, as Johnny Gaudreau tucked home the rebound on a Fantilli shot midway through the frame before Johnny Hockey returned the favor by banking a pass to Fantilli off the end boards about four minutes later. Fantilli has picked up his scoring pace in December, piling up four goals and eight points over the last seven games, and the third overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft appears to be clicking on a line with Gaudreau....
