  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Dishes two assists Thursday

Mikheyev notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Canadiens. Mikheyev set up both of Nikita Zadorov's first-period tallies. With four points over his last four outings, Mikheyev is starting to get into a rhythm on offense. The winger is up to 30 points -- two shy of matching his career high -- with 128 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-4 rating through 66 appearances. He should continue to fill a middle-six role.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Provides helper in loss

Mikheyev notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals. Mikheyev has bounced back from a five-game slump with a goal and an assist over his last two outings. It's helped that he's moved up to a line with J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser -- the third party on that line has typically seen an uptick in offense every time head coach Rick Tocchet shuffles his forward combinations. Mikheyev needs the spark, as he's managed 28 points, 125 shots on net, 37 hits and a plus-2 rating through 64 appearances. That's the same point total he had in 46 games a year ago, though he needs just five more to set a career high.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Finds twine Wednesday

Mikheyev scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Avalanche. Mikheyev snapped a goal drought that dated back to Dec. 19, a span of 34 contests in which he managed just nine assists. While he's managed to stay in the lineup through the slump, he has seen his ice time stay in line with that of a middle-six forward. He's up to 11 goals, 27 points, 125 shots on net, 34 hits and a plus-1 rating over 63 outings overall.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Registers assist

Mikheyev notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins. Mikheyev has struggled in February with three assists and a minus-5 rating over 12 appearances. He spent much of the month in a bottom-six role, but he's been back on the top line at even strength recently, though he's also lost his power-play role. The winger is at 26 points, 110 shots on net, 30 hits and a minus-1 rating through 57 appearances. Mikheyev will need to show more consistency before he can be considered in most fantasy formats.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Contributes helper

Mikheyev notched an assist, three shots on goal and three hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Jets. Mikheyev helped out on a Noah Juulsen tally early in the second period. The Canucks' trade for Elias Lindholm has taken Mikheyev out of the top-six mix, though Dakota Joshua's upper-body injury has allowed Mikheyev to join the team's third line. His play isn't really suited for a checking line -- Mikheyev is at 25 points, 104 shots on net, 27 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 52 outings. Until an injury opens up a spot higher in the lineup, he'll likely be confined to a smaller role, so his fantasy value will be limited.

Mikheyev has gone five games without a goal, but he's picked up four assists and 10 shots on net in that span. The 29-year-old had the secondary helper on Ian Cole's opening tally Tuesday. Mikheyev remains in a top-six role at even strength while also seeing time on the second power-play unit. He's been a solid part of the Canucks' supporting cast with 21 points, 66 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-7 rating over 33 appearances.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Records assist Saturday

Mikheyev notched an assist in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Sharks. Mikheyev has a goal and three helpers over his last four games. The 29-year-old winger has yet to chip in a power-play point this season despite being a fixture on the second unit. All 20 of his points through 31 outings have come at even strength. Mikheyev has added 60 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-7 rating while working on the top line alongside Elias Pettersson for much of the campaign.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Posts two helpers in win

Mikheyev recorded two assists and two shots in the Canucks' 5-2 win over the Predators on Tuesday. Mikheyev recorded an assist on Elias Pettersson's opening goal and on Pius Suter's goal in the second period. This performance now gives Mikheyev points in back-to-back games and marks his third multi-point game in December -- he's picked up points in bunches this month. Mikheyev should continue to skate on the top line and second power-play unit for the time being.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Pots game-winner Sunday

Mikheyev scored his 10th goal of the season in Sunday's 4-3 win over Chicago. His tally late in the second period proved to be the game-winner, giving the Canucks a 4-2 lead which Thatcher Demko was able to nurse to the final horn. Mikheyev snapped a brief three-game point drought with the goal, but he's been unable to sustain any offensive momentum and hasn't found the scoresheet in consecutive games since early November. On the season, the 29-year-old has 17 points in 28 contests, putting him on pace for a career-best campaign if he can stay on the ice -- Mikheyev has never played more than 54 games in an NHL season.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Earns two points

Mikheyev scored a goal on five shots, dished an assist, logged two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Flames. Mikheyev set up a Sam Lafferty goal in the first period and then added a tally of his own in the second. Over his last five outings, Mikheyev has four points and 11 shots on net. The 29-year-old winger is up to eight goals, six helpers, 46 shots and a plus-3 rating through 21 appearances. He's been a fixture on the left wing alongside Elias Pettersson this season, a position that should continue to be fruitful for Mikheyev's offense.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Will play Thursday

Mikheyev (lower body) will be in action versus Vegas on Thursday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports. Mikheyev was forced to leave Tuesday's tilt with the Ducks after registering just 13:20 of ice time but appears to be no worse for the wear. The 29-year-old winger is on pace to reach the 40-point threshold for the first time in his career. Despite zero power-play points, Mikheyev continues to see minutes with the No. 2 unit.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Leaves game early

Mikheyev (lower body) left Tuesday's game versus the Ducks in the third period, but his initial x-rays came back negative, Thomas Drance of The Athletic reports. Mikheyev limped off the ice after getting hit with a shot. The 29-year-old winger had an assist in the contest, earning his 12th point through 19 appearances this season. He'll be considered day-to-day leading into Thursday's game versus the Golden Knights, though the initial test results are encouraging, so he might miss little to no time with the injury.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Pads lead in Friday's win

Mikheyev scored a goal in Friday's 5-1 win over the Kraken. Mikheyev had just one assist over his last five games. The 29-year-old's goal was icing on the cake for the Canucks in a strong win Friday. Mikheyev is up to seven tallies, 11 points, 36 shots on net, seven hits and a plus-1 rating through 17 appearances this season. He should continue to have plenty of chances on offense while playing in a top-six role, though Friday was the fourth game in a row he's come in under 15 minutes of ice time.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: First multi-pointer of season

Mikheyev scored two goals Thursday in a 5-2 win over Ottawa. It was Mikheyev's first multi-point game of the season. His first goal came when he found himself alone in the slot after an Elias Pettersson takeaway in the first period. The second came off a Pettersson shot from the top of the right circle that he deliberately shot wide at Mikheyev's foot, and the ricochet went in. The winger has been a strong fit on the top line beside Pettersson and Andrei Kuzmenko, and Mikheyev has amassed eight points, including five goals, and 24 shots in nine games. Mikheyev has struggled with injuries throughout his NHL career -- he's never played more than 54 games in a season. He's on a career pace, though, so he's a great waiver grab while he's in the lineup. Vancouver is for real.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Records assist in win

Mikheyev notched an assist in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Stars. Mikheyev helped out on an Elias Pettersson tally in the second period. There's something to be said for consistency -- Mikheyev has three goals and three assists through seven contests while playing on the top line. While the lack of multi-point outings is a little discouraging, the winger has added 19 shots on net and a plus-6 rating, showing that he can drive play in the right direction when he's on the ice.

  • Canucks' Ilya Mikheyev: Pots goal in big win

Mikheyev scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 10-1 win over the Sharks. Mikheyev's tally in the second period stretched the Canucks' lead to 5-0. The winger continues to provide solid supporting offense in a top-line role. He's at three goals, two assists, 18 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through six appearances. Mikheyev won't add much physicality, but with the Canucks boasting a strong top six, he could shatter his career high of 32 points if he stays healthy this year.
