Dubois scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Ducks.
Dubois got the promotion to the top line since Anze Kopitar (undisclosed) did not play. The goal was Dubois' first since March 15, though he managed nine assists in the 13 contests between goals. The 25-year-old center is up to 16 tallies, 40 points, 146 shots on net, 95 hits, 70 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 80 appearances. He's significantly down from his 63 points in 2022-23, but it hasn't helped that the Kings forward spent the vast majority of the campaign on the third line.

Dubois has four helpers over his last two contests and nine assists over 10 games since his last goal. The 25-year-old center continues to fill in on the second line while Phillip Danault (upper body) is on the mend. Dubois remains warm -- he has a goal and six helpers over his last six contests while adding a plus-6 rating in that span. The 25-year-old set up Kevin Fiala's opening goal in the first period. Dubois is up to 35 points (15 goals, 20 helpers) through 71 contests, and he's tacked on 131 shots, 91 hits and 70 PIM. A strong finish to the year would help to partially salvage his otherwise unimpressive first campaign with the Kings.

Dubois scored a power-play goal on three shots, dished an assist, logged two hits, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Dubois opened the scoring 3:10 into the game and helped out on an Alex Laferriere goal just a couple of minutes later. This was Dubois' first multi-point effort since Feb. 20 -- he had just two points over the 11 contests in between. He reached the 30-point mark Friday, but this is on track to be the 25-year-old's worst full-length season as it took him 66 contests to get there. Friday also marked his 500th career NHL game.

Dubois snapped a seven-game goal drought with his third-period marker. During that slump, he managed just one assist. The 25-year-old center has 14 goals, 28 points, 115 shots on net, 76 hits, 46 PIM and a minus-18 rating through 62 appearances. He's played much of the season as the third-line center, though he hasn't been much better on the rare occasions he's gotten a top-six winger spot.

This was Dubois' second multi-goal game of the campaign. The 25-year-old center has had a rough first year with the Kings, but he's got six points over six outings in February, which suggests he could be turning a corner. He's up to 13 goals, 26 points, 101 shots on net, 61 hits, 46 PIM and a minus-14 rating through 54 outings overall. Dubois remains on the third line, though the Kings have decent depth, so it'll be up to him to keep getting involved in the scoring.

Kings' Pierre-Luc Dubois: Two helpers in Boston
Dubois picked up two assists while adding four shots on net, five hits, two PIM and a blocked shot during Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Bruins.
The 25-year-old center sparked a rally from a 3-1 deficit by having a hand in tallies by Vladislav Gavrikov late in the second period and Alex Laferriere early in the third, setting the stage for a wild finish. It was Dubois' first multi-point performance since Jan. 15, snapping a slump that had seen him manage just two goals and three points over his prior 11 contests. On the season, Dubois has only 24 points (11 goals, 13 assists) in 52 games with a minus-16 rating, a disappointing showing in his first campaign with the Kings.

Dubois opened the scoring at 2:38 of the second period. His last two goals have come on the power play, though that's all of his offense over his last nine contests. The 25-year-old is one of the players with the most to gain under interim head coach Jim Hiller, who coached his first game as Todd McLellan's replacement Saturday. Dubois is up to 11 goals, 21 points, 89 shots on net, 40 hits, 36 PIM and a minus-16 rating through 49 appearances, so he's got plenty of room for improvement over the final two months of the campaign.

Dubois registered a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win over the Hurricanes on Monday.
After back-to-back 60-plus point seasons with the Jets, Dubois has struggled to produce points for the Kings, putting up only 19 points in 40 games this year. However, he was able to score his ninth goal of the season Monday to put the Kings up 4-1 and essentially put the game away for his team. The 2016 third overall pick is only averaging 15:49 TOI and playing on the third line so it will be hard to trust his production going forward.

Kings' Pierre-Luc Dubois: Benefits from roster shuffle
Dubois recorded a pair of assists and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Red Wings.
Head coach Todd McLellan pulled out the line blender, with Dubois getting Adrian Kempe on his wing for this contest. It paid off, as Dubois earned his first multi-point effort since Nov. 25 by assisting on both of Kempe's tallies. In the 15 games in between, Dubois had just two goals and one assist. The 25-year-old center has 16 points, 69 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 35 appearances this season. So far, he hasn't looked worth the bounty of players or the $8.5 million cap hit the Kings committed to get him out of Winnipeg in the summer, but Thursday could be the spark he needed to get going on offense.
