Marchand delivered a goal and an assist Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Tampa Bay. Marchand's output has dipped slightly this season, but he's still on pace to top 60 points. If successful, Marchand will have 10 consecutive 60-point campaigns. He can help, especially in formats that count shots. Marchand is on pace for close to 250 shots.... See More ... See Less

Bruins' Brad Marchand: Puts up assist
Marchand notched an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Lightning. Marchand had an 11-game point streak from Dec. 3-27, but he's followed that up with just two helpers over his last seven outings. The Bruins have been limited to one goal or less in four of those contests during his slump, though they've scored four times in the other three. The winger's not known to be particularly streaky, but it's possible he won't produce offense at as high a level as he has in the past at the age of 36. He's still been decent this year with 15 goals, 18 helpers, 132 shots on net, 43 hits, 30 PIM and a minus-5 rating through 44 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Extends point streak
Marchand tallied a goal, two assists, two shots and a plus-3 rating during Monday's 4-1 win over the Capitals. Marchand is nurturing a 10-game point streak heading into the holiday break and has amassed seven goals and 13 points during that span. The Bruins captain stands a solid chance to extend his productive ways against a struggling Blue Jackets squad when the Bruins return on Friday, although the fate of Marchand's point streak could be adversely affected by a prolonged absence from David Pastrnak (upper body), who left midway through Monday's contest.... Bruins' Brad Marchand: Deposits empty-netter
Marchand scored an empty-net goal and added three hits in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres. Marchand has been among the Bruins' steadiest forwards in December with six goals and four assists during his nine-game point streak. The winger is up to 14 goals, 13 helpers, 102 shots on net, 34 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 35 appearances. Marchand's offense alone makes him a reliable fantasy forward, and his more abrasive tendencies can help in formats that count hits and PIM.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Garners apple in defeat
Marchand produced an even-strength assist in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Oilers. The 36-year-old set up Elias Lindholm's marker to open the scoring early in the first period, and Marchand had three shots on goal in 19:00 of ice time. Marchand extended his point streak to eight games in the process, and he's accumulated five goals and four assists during that span. The veteran winger has been a consistent fixture on offense for the Bruins, which is impressive considering the 36-year-old underwent surgery on his elbow, groin and abdomen during the offseason. Boston's captain has provided 13 goals (four game-winners) and 13 helpers through 34 appearances this year.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Riding seven-game point streak
Marchand produced an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames. Marchand set up a Marc McLaughlin tally to tie the game in the third period. The helper extended Marchand's point streak to seven games (five goals, three assists). The 36-year-old winger is up to a total of 25 points, 98 shots, 31 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 33 outings this season. He remains involved in all situations for the Bruins.... See More ... Bruins' Brad Marchand: Pots power-play tally
Marchand scored a power-play goal on seven shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Canucks. Marchand extended his point streak to six games (five goals, two assists) with his first-period tally. This was his first power-play goal since Oct. 31 versus the Hurricanes. The 36-year-old winger is still making an impact in a top-six role with 24 points (eight on the power play), 96 shots, 30 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 32 appearances. That puts him on a roughly 60-point pace, which would be his lowest output in a season since 2014-15.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Converts penalty shot
Marchand scored on a penalty shot, fired three shots on goal and added two hits in Thursday's 5-1 loss to the Kraken. Brandon Montour covered a loose puck in the Kraken's crease, resulting in the penalty shot being awarded to the Bruins. Marchand converted, but that free chance was the only one of the team's 34 shots that got past Philipp Grubauer. The 36-year-old Marchand is rolling with four goals and two assists during his five-game point streak. Overall, he has 12 tallies, 23 points, 89 shots on net, 30 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 31 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Ties team record for clutch play
Marchand scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 overtime win over the Flyers. He tied the game 3-3 at 14:38 of the third, capping a two-goal comeback for Boston, which was down 3-1 to start the period. It's the 15th time Marchand has scored the tying goal in the final 10 minutes of the third. That matches Ray Bourque for the most goals in Bruins history in the same situation. Marchand is on a three-game, four-point streak (three goals, one assist) with seven shots, one hit and one block. He also has eight points, including six goals, in his last nine appearances. Marchand's game is starting to warm up.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Two goals including winner
Marchand scored two goals, including the game-winner, in Wednesday's 4-2 victory over Chicago. The veteran winger's tallies came just over two minutes apart early in the second period, breaking open a 1-1 tie. It's the second multi-goal performance in five games for Marchand, and on the season, he's up to 10 goals and 20 points over 28 contests, putting him on pace to potentially secure his first 30-goal campaign since 2021-22.... Bruins' Brad Marchand: Lights lamp twice in win
Marchand scored two goals in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Islanders. The 36-year-old winger gave the Bruins a 2-0 lead early in the first period, with his first tally coming right off a faceoff just 57 seconds into the game. It's Marchand's first multi-goal performance of the season, but he's been productive in November with six goals and 10 points through 13 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Scores winning goal Saturday
Marchand scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Red Wings. Marchand found the back of the net for the first time since Nov. 9, and the veteran came through when Boston needed him the most. His wrister with 9:30 left in the third period gave the Bruins a second straight victory under new head coach Joe Sacco. Marchand is up to six goals and nine assists across 22 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Snaps slump with power-play assist
Marchand notched a power-play assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 1-0 win over Utah. Marchand had gone three games without a point prior to Thursday. The 36-year-old winger has earned 14 points over 21 contests this season, and six of those points have come with the man advantage despite the Bruins' last-place conversion rate of 11.9 percent. He's also contributed 63 shots on net, 18 PIM and 15 hits while filling a top-six role. Marchand could continue to struggle on offense as the Bruins try to work out of an early funk.... See More ... Bruins' Brad Marchand: Fifth goal of season Saturday
Marchand scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators. Marchand found the back of the net in the second period to give the Bruins a momentary 2-1 lead after Boston scored twice in a 15-second span. The 36-year-old veteran has been on a tear in recent games, cracking the scoresheet in five of his last six appearances while recording four goals and two assists in that span.... See More ... Bruins' Brad Marchand: Nets game-winner
Marchand scored a goal on eight shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flames. Marchand prevented a total collapse for the Bruins, who blew a two-goal lead in the third period. The winger has started well in November with two goals and two assists over four contests this month. The 36-year-old is up to four goals (two game-winners), seven assists, 45 shots on net, 18 PIM, 10 hits and a minus-3 rating over 15 appearances in a top-six role.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Helps out on power play
Marchand notched a power-play assist in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Kraken. Marchand continues to be a leader on offense with three goals and three assists over his last five outings. Three of his points in that span have come on the power play. The winger has 10 points (five on the power play), 34 shots on net, eight hits, seven blocked shots, 12 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 13 appearances this season. He should continue to play in all situations while seeing time in the top six at even strength.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Two points against Flyers
Marchand scored an empty-net goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-0 win over Philadelphia. The third-period tally was Marchand's third goal of the season, and all three have come in the last four games. The 36-year-old winger has been a steady contributor to begin the campaign, collecting nine points in 12 contests, including a goal and three assists on the power play.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Scores power-play goal in loss
Marchand scored a power-play goal on three shots in Thursday's 8-2 loss to the Hurricanes. Marchand has three points over his last three games, but he's one of a few Bruins who are being productive on offense. The 36-year-old is at seven points, 29 shots on net, 12 PIM, seven hits and a minus-6 rating through 11 appearances. Boston has started 4-6-1, and while Marchand continues to play a prominent role, his overall numbers may take a hit if the team's performance doesn't improve.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Finally nets first goal of season
Marchand scored at 2:26 of overtime to give Boston a 4-3 victory over Toronto on Saturday. He also put up an assist in the game. David Pastrnak intercepted an errant pass by Auston Matthews to create a 2-on-1 with Marchand, who got stopped by Anthony Stolarz before shoveling in the rebound. Marchand earned his first goal and first multi-point effort of the season. He has five helpers and 23 shots in nine games this campaign. The chirpy 36-year-old is coming off two consecutive 67-point seasons, and there are whispers this sluggish start may be the beginning of an age-related decline. However, Marchand has been painfully unlucky with a 4.3 shooting percentage, well below his 15.2 career mark. He should be able to heat up offensively.... See More ... See Less -
Bruins' Brad Marchand: Posts assist Saturday
Marchand notched an assist in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to Utah. Marchand set up Cole Koepke for the Bruins' lone goal of the game at 12:49 of the second period. The 36-year-old Marchand hasn't buried a goal himself yet, coming up empty on 13 shots over six games, but he has four assists, five hits, four blocked shots and eight PIM this campaign. He's reached the 80-point mark once in the last four regular seasons, and given his age, it's fair to expect a drop in offense to come soon, though Marchand can add enough PIM and hits to maintain decent fantasy value....
