  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Won't suit up for wild-card game

Holland (knee) is inactive for Saturday's playoff contest against the Chiefs. Holland sat out Week 13 through Week 16 due to injuries to both his knees, but he was able to return for Miami's final two regular-season contests. However, he is clearly still far from being 100 percent, as he logged a trio of DNPs during practice this week and won't be able to participate in the opening round of the playoffs. With Holland out Saturday, Elijah Campbell will likely start at free safety.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Still listed as out

Holland (knee) was listed as a nonparticipant on the Dolphins' practice estimate for the second day in a row Wednesday. The starting safety played through the knee injury in the Dolphins' last two regular-season games, but he only managed 35 percent of the defensive snaps in the team's Week 18 loss to the Bills. Before returning for Miami's Week 17 matchup with Baltimore, Holland missed the previous four games. Elijah Campbell is next in line on the depth chart.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Downgrades to questionable

Holland (knee) was downgraded to questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Holland began Miami's week of practice with back-to-back limited sessions due to a knee injury, and it seemed as if he'd moved past the issue after a full practice Friday and no injury designation for Sunday's game. He's now been deemed questionable for the Dolphins' regular-season finale, and if he's unable to suit up, expect Elijah Campbell to see increased opportunities in the team's secondary.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Will play vs. Bills

Holland (knee) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game versus the Bills, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. As expected, Holland will suit up for Miami in the de facto AFC East Championship matchup. He tied his season-low tackle total in Week 17 at Baltimore, so he'll hope to get back to something resembling his usual self Sunday.

The safety returned for the Dolphins' Week 17 loss to the Ravens after missing four straight games with the knee injury. • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Limited again to begin Week 17 prep

Holland (knees) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Holland has missed Miami's past four games due to sprained MCLs in both of his knees, but he's been a limited participant in each of the team's past nine practices. That suggests the safety has a chance of returning Sunday in Baltimore, though the Dolphins may want him to be able to log a full practice session first. If Holland sits out again Sunday, Brandon Jones would likely continue to see a near every-down role in Miami's secondary.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Limited practice Wednesday

Holland (knee) was a limited participant at the Dolphins' practice Wednesday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports. Holland was forced to miss a third straight game in Week 15 due to the MCL injury he's been dealing with, but his ability to open the week as an active participant bodes well for his chances to play Sunday versus Dallas. The safety will look to increase his workload at practice before the end of the week to avoid an injury designation in Week 16.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Ruled out for Week 15

Holland (knee) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Jets. Holland will miss his third straight contest while dealing with two sprained MCLs in his knee. It appears that Holland is getting close to a return, however, and he'll look to get back on the field next Sunday versus Dallas.

Holland was able to log consecutive limited practice sessions last week, and his participation this week will provide clarity on his status for Sunday's AFC East clash.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Officially inactive

Holland (knee) won't play in Monday's contest against Tennessee, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Holland hurt his knee in Week 12 against the Jets and will now miss his second straight game. The safety did log a pair of limited sessions during practice this week, so there's a decent chance he'll be able to return next Sunday in a rematch with the Jets. Brandon Jones took over as a starter last week and will presumably continue to do so for however long Holland remains out of action.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Logs limited session

Holland (knee) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Holland could be trending in the right direction to suit up Monday night, as he went from recording a DNP on Thursday to limited work Friday. The third-year safety out of Oregon will almost certainly carry an injury designation into Miami's Week 14 contest unless he's able to practice in full Saturday.

The third-year safety was able to log a limited practice session Friday after recording DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday. If Holland isn't available for Miami's Week 13 contest, Elijah Campbell would likely start at free safety.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Clears concussion protocol

Holland (concussion) was left off the Dolphins' initial Week 9 injury report released Wednesday, Travis Wingfield of the team's official site reports. Holland sat out the Dolphins' Week 8 win over the Patriots after entering the protocol upon sustaining the head injury in a Week 7 loss to Philadelphia. According to Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com, head coach Mike McDaniel said earlier Wednesday that Holland cleared the protocol, and the 23-year-old's omission from the Week 9 injury report confirms that he returned to practice as a full participant. With the head injury in the rear-view mirror, Holland should reprise his starting role at safety alongside DeShon Elliott in Sunday's matchup with the Chiefs in Frankfurt, Germany. Through seven games this season, Holland has tallied 52 tackles, three pass breakups and three forced fumbles.

  • Dolphins' Jevon Holland: Listed as limited participant

Holland is listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimation due to a neck injury, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Holland played every defensive snap for a third consecutive week during Sunday's win over the Bills, but he's apparently dealing with a neck injury a day later. However, it's somewhat encouraging he was estimated as a limited participant as opposed to missing the session altogether ahead of Thursday's game against the Bengals. Versus Buffalo, Holland was sensational with 10 tackles (one solo), 1.5 sacks and two pass breakups. He also had a forced fumble.
