  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Tosses four TD passes in Week 18

Murray completed 25 of 35 passes for 242 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions and reeled off 22 yards on three carries during Sunday's 47-24 win against the 49ers In leading the Cardinals to their highest point total in a game this season, Murray played turnover-free football for the sixth time in 17 contests and also tossed a campaign-high four TD passes, connecting with WR Greg Dortch twice (from 23 and two yards), TE Trey McBride (two yards) and WR Marvin Harrison (12 yards). Murray ends the season with a 68.8 completion percentage, 226.5 passing yards per game and a 21:11 TD:INT while notching 78 carries for 572 yards and five more scores. This season marked the first of the five-year, $230.5 million extension he signed in July 2022, and he'll welcome back all of Arizona's key skill-position talent, including RB James Conner (knee) and WR Michael Wilson (hamstring), once the team reconvenes for the offseason program.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: QBs to Start

Murray fell short of 20 Fantasy points in Week 17 at the Rams with two interceptions, but he played well with 33-of-48 passing for 321 yards and one touchdown, along with 32 rushing yards. He's struggled down the stretch with only two games over 20 Fantasy points in his past six outings, but he should close the season on a high note. He scored 26.1 Fantasy points at San Francisco in Week 5, and the 49ers defense is beat up heading into Week 18. I would trust Murray as a low-end starter in this matchup.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Standout numbers marred by INTs

Murray completed 33 of 48 passes for 321 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and rushed four times for 32 yards in the Cardinals' 13-9 loss to the Rams on Saturday night. Murray's season-best passing yardage total came on a season-high number of completions and pass attempts, but his pair of turnovers played a key part in the loss. Both of the star signal-caller's interceptions transpired in the Rams' end zone, the first on a 40-yard heave on fourth down with 3:15 remaining. After Arizona got the ball back, Murray had the Cardinals marching toward a potential game-winning touchdown when his pass for Trey McBride bounced off the tight end's helmet just short of the goal line, and the Rams' Ahkello Witherspoon pulled off an acrobatic pick that survived replay. Prior to that unfortunate turn of events, Murray did facilitate McBride's long-awaited first receiving touchdown of the season on a one-yard toss to cap off the first drive of the second half. Murray will have one chance to atone in a Week 18 home matchup against the 49ers.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Murray has been one of the bigger Fantasy disappointments this season, and it's tough to trust him in one-quarterback leagues in Week 17 at the Rams. He's scored 17.2 Fantasy points or less in three of his past five games, and he has four touchdowns and six interceptions over that span, with just one rushing touchdown. The Rams have held four of their past five opposing quarterbacks to fewer than 17 Fantasy points, including Jalen Hurts, Brock Purdy, and Aaron Rodgers. This could be a rough game for Murray, especially since the Cardinals were just officially eliminated from the playoffs.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Mixed results in crushing loss

Murray completed 20 of 32 pass attempts for 202 yards, one touchdown and one interception in addition to eight rushing attempts for 63 yards, another score and a fumble lost in Sunday's 36-30 overtime loss to Carolina. Murray provided mixed results for fantasy managers in a must-win contest that the Cardinals squandered in overtime to a Panthers squad that entered Week 16 with three wins on the year. The dual-threat QB was responsible for two scores Sunday, but he also committed two turnovers for the third time over his last four appearances. The loss eliminated Arizona from playoff contention, meaning that Murray and the Cardinals can only play the role of spoiler in Week 17 against the Rams on Saturday.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: QBs to Start

Murray is clearly tough to trust since he's scored 17.2 Fantasy points or less in three of his past four games. He also has just three touchdowns and five interceptions over that span, and he's rushed for more than 16 yards just once since Week 10. But I expect him to snap out of his slump in Week 16 against the Panthers, who are No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Three of the past four quarterbacks against Carolina have scored at least 25.1 Fantasy points, including Cooper Rush last week. And the Panthers have allowed three rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks and four quarterbacks to rush for at least 30 yards in a game this season.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Leaves game briefly Sunday

Murray completed 23 of 30 pass attempts for 224 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions while taking five carries for 11 yards in Sunday's 30-17 win over the Patriots. Murray left the contest briefly to be examined for a potential head injury after a late hit in the second half of Sunday's lopsided win. Backup Clayton Tune replaced Arizona's starter for the remainder of the drive before Murray retook the reins on the ensuing drive. While the dual-threat QB didn't throw any touchdowns for fantasy mangers Sunday, his only potential interception was erased by a roughing the passer penalty on the play during which he was injured. Murray escaped the win in good health, putting the signal-caller on track to start next Sunday's tilt against Carolina.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: QBs to Sit

Murray only scored 10.3 Fantasy points at Seattle in Week 12, and he's been held under 20 Fantasy points in three of his past four games. The Seahawks held Murray and Aaron Rodgers to a combined 28.3 Fantasy points in their past two games, and Seattle has allowed just eight passing touchdowns compared to seven interceptions in the past six outings against Kirk Cousins, Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, Brock Purdy, Murray, and Rodgers. I hope coming back home helps Murray, but he's a low-end starter at best, given the matchup in Week 14.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: QBs to Sit

The Murray roller coaster continued in Week 12 at Seattle when he scored 10.3 Fantasy points, which is the second time in three games he scored 10.3 points or less. He's also scored 16.2 Fantasy points or less in three of five road games this season, and the Vikings come into Week 13 at No. 13 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Only four quarterbacks this season have scored more than 20 Fantasy points against Minnesota, and the Vikings are No. 1 in fewest rushing yards allowed to quarterbacks this year at 95 yards with one rushing touchdown.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: QBs to Start

Murray will hopefully stay hot coming off the bye in Week 11, and he has top-five upside in Week 12 against Seattle. Murray scored at least 22.2 Fantasy points in three of his past four games, and the Seahawks have allowed six of the past seven quarterbacks to score at least 20.4 Fantasy points, including three in a row. Murray is also averaging 24.0 Fantasy points per game in his past six outings against Seattle.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Misses just two passes in big win

Murray completed 22 of 24 pass attempts for 266 yards and a touchdown while adding 21 rushing yards and two more scores on three carries in Sunday's 31-6 victory over the Jets. The dual-sport athlete nearly pitched a perfect game after missing just two pass attempts without turning the ball over while scoring three combined touchdowns in the blowout victory. Murray bounced back from his worst fantasy game of the season against the Bears last week, posting a gaudy stat line against the Jets. With over 2,000 combined yards of offense and 16 total touchdowns through 10 games, both fantasy managers and the Cardinals should feel good about the QB they have in camp this season. Murray will now enter his bye week and resume action in a road matchup against the Seahawks on Nov. 24.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Scores twice on MNF

Murray completed 14 of 26 pass attempts for 145 yards, one touchdown and one interception while taking six carries for 54 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 17-15 win over the Chargers. Murray was involved in both of Arizona's touchdowns Monday, the third time he has provided fantasy managers with multiple scores this season. The dual-threat quarterback finished off the Chargers by driving his team's offense into field-goal range for kicker Chad Ryland to knock in a chip shot for the win. Murray has been a steady asset through seven games in 2024, making him a safe option for Sunday's tilt against the Dolphins.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: QBs to Start

Murray was a pleasant surprise in Week 5 at San Francisco with 26.1 Fantasy points, which was only the second time all season he's scored more than 16.8 points. He ran for a season-high 83 yards against the 49ers and scored his first rushing touchdown of the year, and it was only a matter of time before he would start producing at a high level since he has 45 rushing yards or more in four of five games. This game should be a high-scoring affair with a projected total of 49.5 points, and I like Murray to finish Week 6 as a top-10 Fantasy quarterback for the third time this season.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Two touchdowns in comback victory

Murray completed 19 of 30 pass attempts for 195 yards, one touchdown and one interception while adding 83 rushing yards and a touchdown on seven attempts in Sunday's 24-23 win over the 49ers. Murray ripped off a 50-yard touchdown run on Arizona's opening drive to boost fantasy managers' scores early in the contest. The dual-threat quarterback did not have a huge day passing the ball, finishing under 200 yards in that category for the third time this season. That said, Murray's combination of rushing and throwing stats together make him a solid fantasy option overall. Up next for the Cardinals is a road tilt against the Packers next Sunday,

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Murray scored 34.5 Fantasy points against the Rams in Week 2, but he's been under 17 points in his three other games against Buffalo, Detroit and Washington, with the latter two great matchups. Murray also has a mediocre history against the 49ers. In his past four games against San Francisco, Murray has scored fewer than 16 Fantasy points in three of those outings. The 49ers haven't faced a lot of top-tier talent at quarterback with matchups against the Jets, Vikings, Rams and Patriots, but Sam Darnold is the only one with more than 19 Fantasy points and 221 passing yards. If you can, sit Murray in one-quarterback leagues in Week 5.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Struggles in Week 4 loss

Murray completed 16 of 22 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-14 loss to the Commanders. He added one rushing attempt for three yards. After capping the opening drive with a two-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Harrison, Murray was surprisingly quiet the rest of the way as both a passer and a runner against a beatable Washington defense as the Cardinals felt the absence of starting tight end Trey McBride (concussion). Prior to Sunday's dud as a runner, Murray had at least 45 rushing yards in every game this season and had rushed for at least 20 yards in eight consecutive starts. Murray's averaging just 194.3 passing yards per game heading into a Week 5 road game against the 49ers.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Throws three TDs in win

Murray completed 17 of 21 pass attempts for 266 yards and three touchdowns while adding 59 rushing yards on five attempts in Sunday's 41-10 blowout win over the Rams. Murray tore apart the Rams' secondary in Sunday's lopsided victory, missing just four pass attempts and committing no turnovers. The 2019 first-overall pick has battled injuries over the past two seasons, but he is now playing with the confidence we saw from the star QB prior to breaking down physically. Murray is shaping up to be a great bounce-back candidate in 2024 with four touchdowns and a 73 percent completion rate through two games. A true barometer awaits for the 26-year-old in Week 3 when the Cardinals host a stingy Lions defense at State Farm Stadium on Sunday.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Poor passing numbers in Week 1 loss

Murray completed 21 of 31 passes for 162 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 34-28 loss to the Bills. He also rushed five times for 57 yards and lost a fumble. Murray capped the opening drive with a five-yard touchdown pass to Michael Wilson and helped the Cardinals race out to a 17-3 lead, but Buffalo responded with 21 unanswered points, aided by a Murray fumble. Arizona's dual-threat quarterback then responded with a 29-yard run to set up a field goal on the next drive, but Murray and the Cardinals came up short on their last drive, turning the ball over on downs at Buffalo's 29-yard line in the final minute. Rookie fourth overall pick Marvin Harrison had just four yards in his NFL debut, so Murray will look to get the talented wide receiver more involved in Week 2 against the Rams.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Not in line to play

Murray is going through pregame warmups but isn't in line to play in Saturday's preseason game at Indianapolis, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Coach Jonathan Gannon said two weeks ago that Murray won't play at all this preseason. The Cardinals gave some of their younger starters playing time in the preseason opener, including a brief appearance by WR Marvin Harrison, but they might have a different plan for Saturday night.

  • Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Sleeper QBs

Murray had a surprising game in Week 16 at Chicago with 24.4 Fantasy points. He snapped a two-game streak where he scored fewer than 16 Fantasy points, and we'll see how he does in back-to-back road games at the Eagles. Philadelphia has limited the past two opposing quarterbacks to under 15 Fantasy points against Seattle and the Giants, but the Eagles are still No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to the position. I don't mind taking a chance on Murray this week as a low-end starter in all leagues.
