Tyler Murphy: Reaches injury settlement with Dolphins
Murphy (knee) reached an injury settlement with the Dolphins on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Murphy injured his knee on practice Monday and hadn't practiced since. He had an uphill battle to make the roster when healthy, and his absence shouldn't impact the team greatly going forward.

Dolphins' Tyler Murphy: Experiences knee troubles
Murphy (knee) did not practice Tuesday, Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
The severity of the injury remains undisclosed and no timetable was provided for his return. When healthy, Murphy will compete for a roster spot behind Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills and Leonte Carroo.

Steelers' Tyler Murphy: Promoted from practice squad
Murphy was promoted from the practice squad Saturday.
Murphy was brought up in the likely event that Ben Roethlisberger is unable to return from his knee injury to play Sunday against the Chiefs, with Landry Jones getting the start after Michael Vick was ruled out with a hamstring injury. Murphy, who isn't likely to see the field if Jones avoids an injury, played quarterback at Florida and Boston College during his collegiate years, but after going undrafted he signed as a free agent with the Steelers, who were trying to develop him into a wide receiver.
