Quinten Rollins: Waived by Arizona
Rollins was waived by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic reports.
Rollins was initially signed by the Cardinals on Nov. 27, but did not appear in a single game during his tenure with the team. The former 2015 second-round pick will be an unrestricted free agent if he goes unclaimed on waivers, and will then be free to search for a depth role elsewhere in the league.

Cardinals' Quinten Rollins: Joins Cardinals
Rollins signed a contract with the Cardinals on Tuesday, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.
The former 2015 second-round pick was with the Packers this offseason but was placed on injured reserve before the season began and was subsequently released. The Cardinals are in need of defensive back depth after they released Jamar Taylor and Bene Benwikere, and they're hoping Rollins can provide that. The 26-year-old has 76 tackles and three interceptions in his career.

Coach Mike McCarthy indicated Saturday that Rollins (Achilles) has recovered well from his torn Achilles and the staff believes he can play multiple positions, Michael Cohen of The Athletic Wisconsin reports. However, Cohen also notes that he's yet to run full speed.
Rollins' role varied early in 2017 when he was healthy, but it ended in Week 6 due to the Achilles issue. Rollins (Achilles) is making good progress this offseason, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "Good. Really good, actually. Really good," head coach Mike McCarthy said of Rollins' status Tuesday. "Just talked about him last week. Rehab is going good. Q does everything right. I look for him to come back strong."
Rollins landed on injured reserve back in October due to a severe Achilles injury. It's welcomed news for the Packers, as Rollins will likely be expected to take on a larger role next season after the team shipped Damarious Randall to Cleveland. The Packers did sign veteran Tramon Williams earlier this month, who figures to play a key role on the field while serving as a mentor to the younger cornerbacks in Rollins and Kevin King.
