Redmond was waived off injured reserve by the Packers in late November, and he's now attempting to latch on elsewhere. The 27-year-old appeared in 13 games for Green Bay in 2020 and totaled 28 tackles and one pass defensed.

Will Redmond: Cut by Packers
Redmond (toe) was waived off IR by the Packers on Monday.
Redmond, who had spent the entirety of the regular season on injured reserve as the result of a turf toe injury he suffered in training camp, now will be able to return to action if he signs with another team. The veteran defensive back appeared in 31 regular-season games during his three years in Green Bay with a career-high 36 tackles in the 2019 season.

The Packers placed Redmond (toe) on injured reserve Tuesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Redmond was sidelined at the start of training camp with a foot injury, but he was able to pass his physical in time to return to action against the Jets in Week 2 of the preseason. The 27-year-old suffered a toe injury during the contest -- later diagnosed as turf toe -- and will be forced to miss the entire 2021 campaign unless he works out an injury settlement with the team. Vernon Scott and Henry Black will now compete for Redmond's snaps in Green Bay's nickel defense.

Redmond missed Monday's practice after suffering a toe injury in Saturday's 23-14 loss to the Jets, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Redmond was sidelined with a toe injury Monday just one week after returning to the practice field from being on the non-football injury list with a foot issue. The 27-year-old enters the 2021 campaign as the third-safety on the depth chart behind Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos. If the toe injury does not keep him out for long, Redmond once again will aim to play an important role for the Packers in the upcoming season.

Redmond (foot) passed his physical, allowing him to return from the non-football injury list, and he practiced Monday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
With Redmond out for the first preseason game, Henry Black and Vernon Scott saw the majority of snaps from the safety position. It is unlikely that either overtake Redmond on the depth chart seeing as he played a prominent role behind Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos a year ago. Redmond signed a one-year deal in April to stick with the Packers for at least one more season.
