Cardinals' Seth DeValve: Elevated for Saturday
DeValve was promoted to Arizona's active roster from the practice squad Friday, Kevin Zimmerman of ArizonaSports.com reports.
The 27-year-old joined the Cardinals' practice squad in late November and was elevated to the active roster two times in the interim. DeValve went without a target in those appearances, but he could be more involved Saturday with Dan Arnold (back), Maxx Williams (ankle) and Darrell Daniels (hamstring) all questionable.

Seth DeValve: Sent back to practice squad
DeValve reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday, Mason Kern of SI.com reports.
DeValve contributed a fumble recovery and one tackle over 27 offensive snaps and 12 special-teams snaps in Sunday's 26-7 triumph over the Giants. The 27-year-old has suited up for Arizona in back-to-back games after being jettisoned from Carolina's practice squad Nov. 17.

Cardinals' Seth DeValve: Elevated from practice squad
DeValve was elevated from the practice squad Saturday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
After appearing in his first NFL game of the season last week against the Rams, DeValve will return to Arizona's 53-man roster for Sunday. While the tight end didn't see any targets, he did manage to play in two offensive snaps and 13 special-teams snaps. DeValve will likely not have a significant role again during Sunday's game as Maxx Williams and Dan Arnold serve as the primary tight ends.

Seth DeValve: Back down to practice squad

The 27-year-old played two offensive snaps and 13 special-teams snaps during Sunday's 38-28 loss to the Rams while Dan Arnold stole the show at tight end with 61 receiving yards and two touchdowns. DeValve underwent surgery last week to repair a tendon and to remove a cyst in one of his toes and will be sidelined for 10-to-12 weeks, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The 27-year-old was waived by the Panthers last week with an unspecified non-football injury, which is now known to be related to his toe. DeValve caught his only target for four yards in Sunday's 38-20 win over the Colts.
The 26-year-old ended up playing four fewer snaps than No. 3 tight end Ben Koyack -- Nick O'Leary (shoulder) was inactive -- despite delivering a season-high 45 yards Week 16. DeValve posted 12 catches for 140 yards and zero touchdowns in 12 games during his first season in Jacksonville. The role reduction in the season finale may be an indication the Jaguars will allow DeValve to hit free agency in March and pursue other opportunities.
