Milwaukee recalled Toro from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.
Jesse Winker (neck) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Toro had registered an underwhelming .258/.344/.352 slash line with one home run and four stolen bases through 43 games this season at Triple-A and seems doubtful to offer fantasy relevance.

Brewers' Abraham Toro: Sent to Triple-A
Milwaukee optioned Toro to Triple-A Nashville on Monday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
As the Brewers thin down their major-league roster ahead of the 2023 campaign, Toro was the latest member of the spring roster to be relocated. The 26-year-old signed a one-year deal with Milwaukee in January and produced a .185 average with a homer, four RBI and two runs scored over 27 at-bats in 13 games during spring training. Toro struggled to a .185/.239/.324 slash line with the Mariners in 2022 and will likely have to heat up from the plate before he'd get recalled by the Brewers this season.

Brewers' Abraham Toro: Inks one-year deal
Toro signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract with the Brewers on Friday to avoid arbitration, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
It's a nice little raise for Toro, who was eligible for arbitration for the first time as a Super Two qualifier. The 26-year-old was acquired via trade from the Mariners last month and will compete for the Brewers' second base job in 2023.

Brewers' Abraham Toro: Shipped to Milwaukee
Toro and Jesse Winker were acquired by the Brewers from the Mariners on Friday in exchange for Kolten Wong and cash considerations, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Toro was acquired by the Mariners from the Astros at the 2021 trade deadline, and he's now on the move once again. The 25-year-old played in a career-high 109 games last season, but he struggled offensively with a .185/.239/.324 slash line, 10 home runs and 35 RBI. He's under team control through 2026 and should have the chance to secure a starting spot in the lineup during spring training, with Wong's departure opening up the job at second base.

After recording just three hits in his last 12 games, Toro will return to the minors. 2022 has been a disappointing campaign that saw him slash .179/.236/.314 over 339 plate appearances. If he shows signs of progress over the offseason, there is still a chance he could make the Mariners' big-league roster in 2023.
