Rangers' Daniel Robert: Sent to minors
The Rangers optioned Robert to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.
Robert will miss out on a spot in the Texas bullpen to open the season after a rough spring in which he allowed three earned runs on six hits and three walks over 2.2 innings. The 30-year-old righty was previously summoned to the big leagues on two occasions last season, making four appearances for the Rangers. He otherwise spent the entire 2024 campaign at Round Rock, where he turned in a 2.70 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 52:13 K:BB across 43.1 innings.

Rangers' Daniel Robert: Recalled by Rangers
The Rangers recalled Robert from Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.
Robert last saw major-league action July 20 against the Orioles, when he allowed three hits and one walk while striking out two over two scoreless innings. The 30-year-old right-hander has spent most of 2024 in Triple-A, and across 35 outings with Round Rock he's registered seven saves with a 2.70 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 52:13 K:BB across 43.1 innings. Robert will be available out of the Rangers' bullpen for the weekend series against the Angels.

Rangers' Daniel Robert: Returns from IL
Triple-A Round reinstated Robert (undisclosed) from its 7-day injured list Saturday.
Robert was put to work out of the bullpen later that day, recorded two outs while allowing an unearned run on one hit and two walks. The right-hander was on the shelf for about two and a half weeks with the undisclosed injury.

Rangers' Daniel Robert: Hits shelf at Triple-A
Triple-A Round Rock placed Robert on its 7-day injured list Aug. 7 with an unspecified injury.
After the Rangers optioned him to Round Rock on July 21, Robert made just one appearance for the Triple-A club before being shut down with the injury. The 29-year-old right-hander has been a standout performer at the back end of the Round Rock bullpen this season, logging a 2.27 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and 41:8 K:BB in 31.2 innings.

Rangers' Daniel Robert: Returns to minors
The Rangers optioned Robert to Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.
After covering three innings across two relief appearances Friday and Sunday, Robert will be swapped out of the Texas bullpen in favor of a fresh arm in right-hander Gerson Garabito, who was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move. During his first stint in the majors, Roberts gave up two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.2 innings.
