Gore entered the game in the eighth inning as a pinch runner for Tomas Nido. He promptly stole second base and advanced to third on a throwing error, scoring later on a single by Brandon Nimmo. Mets' Terrance Gore: Back in majors in New York
The Mets selected Gore's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
Gore inked a minor-league deal with the Mets in early June and will join the big-league club for the stretch run. The speedy outfielder hasn't seen game action in the regular season since 2019, but he could be a solid defensive and baserunning option off the bench for New York's playoff push.

Braves' Terrance Gore: Outrighted to Triple-A

Braves' Terrance Gore: Makes World Series roster
Gore was added to Atlanta's World Series roster Tuesday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.
There's nobody like Gore in the league right now. He's received zero MLB plate appearances in the last two seasons and has only come to the plate more than five times in one of his seven major-league campaigns, yet he frequently finds himself on a postseason roster thanks to his elite speed. While he could get the chance to swipe a bag or two if the situation presents itself, it's difficult to select him in a fantasy lineup based purely on the hope that he might enter off the bench. Utility man Johan Camargo was left off the roster to create space for Gore.

Braves' Terrance Gore: Added to NLDS roster
Gore was included on Atlanta's roster for the NLDS against the Brewers.
Gore spent the entire 2021 campaign at Triple-A Gwinnett after signing a minor-league deal with Atlanta in February, but he'll nonetheless join the big-league roster for the playoffs. The 30-year-old should serve as a pinch-running and defensive specialist, much as he did during the Royals' World Series runs back in 2014 and 2015.

Braves' Terrance Gore: Signs minors deal with Atlanta
Gore signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta in mid-February.
The world's preeminent pinch runner has received more than five major-league plate appearances just once in his career, yet he's managed to get at least a bit of time in the big leagues in each of the last seven seasons. He's highly unlikely to carve out a significant role on a strong Atlanta roster, but he'll stand a decent chance of getting called up down the stretch or in the playoffs to steal a couple bases.

The 29-year-old was expected to serve as a pinch-running specialist off the bench, but he ultimately went used throughout the postseason. He'll now look to land a minor-league deal with the Dodgers or another organization this winter.

Dodgers' Terrance Gore: Clears waivers
Gore cleared waivers and was outrighted to the Dodgers' alternate training site Monday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.
Expanded rosters theoretically benefit pinch-running specialists like Gore, but he appeared in just two games before being designated for assignment in late July. If he returns to the active roster at some point later in the year, it's unlikely to be in a fantasy-relevant role.
