The right-hander has pitched to a 7.50 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 22:8 K:BB through 24 innings in the majors this season. Despite the poor outing, Black could continue to get starts in September after Kyle Harrison (shoulder) joined Robbie Ray (hamstring) on the injured list. Black is tentatively projected to make his next start at home in a rematch with the Padres.
